How To Operate Off Of A Party That Seems Intent On Destroying Itself Warning-long

Why did the Founding Fathers fear a political party system? ?

Because it would divide people along ideological lines.

Can Science save mankind from destroying itself?

Can a knife be used to remove nails. Could a baseball bat be used to heat a room. Does electricity from a wall sometimes kill people. Is it possible to kill people in the same device that can take you to the store and back.Science is a system to create and organize knowledge, using testable or observable processes, and also the knowledge gathered from such activities. It tells us about the natural world. It doesn’t do anything on its own. Most issues that humans create are also ones humans can solve. Science can tell us about the reaction of water on a wood fire (like if somebody lit a baseball bat on fire to heat a room but they did it on a table) but science does not put out fires. It’s like that cartoon where the talking animal doesn’t fall because they never learned about gravity, or they don’t follow laws.Use of scientific knowledge could indeed possibly help people from destroying themselves, but misuse of that same knowledge also might be what makes it possible.

How far in advance should we start selling tickets for our "Buck and Doe"?

In Canada, a stag and doe, or buck and doe, is a wedding tradition popular in Southern Ontario.[1] The event is usually organized by the bridal party, but in some circumstances may also be held by the bride and groom before they are married, similar to a 'Jack & Jill.' It acts as a fundraiser for the wedding. Guests purchase entrance tickets and are entertained by draws, food and drink, music and fun and games. It is not a combined bachelor party and bachelorette party, or engagement party, as the primary focus is to raise money for the engaged couple,[2] so their new life together is not started in debt. The intent of a stag and doe party is specifically to make a profit.

Unvoluntary Manslaughter? Breaking someones arms/hand/wrist etc. illegal in self defense?

Canada follows the common law rule for self defense, which is that it is legal to use the 'minimum necessary force' to defend yourself.

Once you've taken the gun from your attacker in the first instance, he no longer poses a deadly risk to you, so shooting him would be retaliation, not self defense. At the least it would be voluntary manslaughter, not involuntary, and it might even be charged as murder.

As for the armed thief in your house, Canada has a 'duty to retreat law', so you could only shoot the armed thief if you were unable to run away. You have no legal right to use violence against an unarmed theirf at all unless he attacks you.

In the second, case, there are ways to stop someone hitting you - especially if you're martial arts trained - that don't result in broken bones, so that would be excessive force.
