How To Play Nintendo 64 N64 Game On Pc Windows 7/8

Can you use ps2 controllers to play the Project 64 Nintendo emulator, using a joybox usb adapter?

You can as long as windows can detect the controller as a controller and are able to get drivers for it.
If you dont already own a ps2 > usb adapter, do NOT buy one.... you can buy a logitech ps2 type controller for like $20-30 which is how much eh adapter costs, and the adapters usually have very shotty driver support, especially for later windows like vista,7,8.

Nintendo 64 USB controller doesn't work with Project 64?

Ok so I just bought a Retrolink Nintendo 64 controller with a usb end to attach to the computer. I have windows 7. So I go into the control panel and the controller recognizes just fine there, the buttons and joystick are recognized and I can see them work. But when I go to Project 64 to play a game, it DOESNT work. I press start, nothing happens. I move up, nothing happens. What can I do to fix this? Thanks. Please leave step by step instructions.

What are some games that a non gaming laptop can run for a new gamer?

Depends on what kind of games you like. And a non-gaming laptop could still actually be a laptop that can play games well, but just not marketed as such. If you posted your laptops specs, we could have a better idea of how to answer. Just off of the top of my head, if you're new to gaming and want to play some fun-but-still-challenging games, I'd recommend you get something like Plants vs. Zombies, which is now being given away for free. There are also many free games on the internet you can try, on various gaming sites like Kongregate and Newgrounds, though the latter is more diverse in its content. For paid games, I'd recommend you get the Steam client for your computer. Steam is a marketplace and game management app that, among other things, allows you to check if a certain game will run on your PC. Within the Steam application, you can click on a game you'd like to check, scroll down the page a little, and click on a button that says "Check Your System" or something like that. Steam should automagically display a message stating whether or not your game conforms to the minimum requirements.  Have fun!
