What is the best way to promote music?

Like those guys said.
Anyone with a smart phone can make a music video and post it to youtube. Do so.
Then use social media to help your fans find the music video.
Give your stuff away on the internet. Crazy?
If you hit huge download numbers then you can talk to the money people. If you build a following you will sell out gigs.
If you sell out gigs you will attract....you get the idea.

How do I promote my Music?

i think that you're doing a great job already. yet, you can try Myspace.com. Or you couyld go to local open mic nights, and sing to get your material heard.as soon as you get a following then you'd be set. try going to your local radio station, and asking if they can test and see if their listeners would like a demo. asking people to call in and voice what they think of your work.

How do I promote my music and make money?

Promoting your music can be hard because we are all faced with seemingly endless amounts of information and it is hard to get noticed in all that noise. Successfully marketing yourself requires knowing who you are, what makes you different, who your fans are, who your competitors are, and understanding your objectives and place in the market. When you know this about yourself, you can choose which of the myriad online and offline marketing options are best for you. Then you would have to develop a marketing strategy with timeline, quantifiable milestones, for each marketing channel. In terms of revenue options, there is no one perfect option; selling songs, merchandise, doing live shows, and licensing can all be viable. Business practices such as knowing your brand, your market, your fans, which revenue sources to focus on, managing the operations and finances, and getting outside funding when needed, all will increase your chances of making money with music.Having a business foundation will equip you to chose the best path for you and increase your chances of success. How do I promote my music blog?

Find places online where people are talking about music, especially the kind of music you blog about, then start talking with them and getting involved in the various communities. Make sure you have a link back to your music blog in the various profiles, and also make sure you don't do anything close to being spammy. Have fun with it and if people start to get to know you in these communities they'll naturally want to click through from your profile and become fans of your blog. There's a lot of other ways to promote your music blog but that one is the best. If you post a link to your blog here or give a better description of it (like what kind of music your blog covers, and if you're a musician, etc) then it would be possible to give more specific answers. Hope this helps!
