How To Relax When Takin Shots In Game

Mental block when shooting 3s?

I think visualizing will help you. Before your games, visualize all of your three point shots going in. Imagine them feeling good out of your hand, looking good and hitting the bottom of the net. Don't think about pushing the ball and stressing. Just relax and visualize. During the game, keep your thoughts positive and remember what you visualized.

How do you make shots hurt less?

It helps to look away. Don't ever look at the needle.

Close your eyes if it helps.

Uh, there's a thing called a Senera patch which numbs your skin so it won't hurt at all either.

Oh, and often nurses and docs like to count to three... but for some reason I found that if you close your eyes and tell them to NOT count to three, it actually hurts less.

I'm 17 and I hate shots too. Hang in there, kid. =p

I choke during basketball games?

i am very good during practice but during games for some reason i feel intimidated by my team mates and am scared that if i do something wrong they will hate me for it...i dont even feel pressure from teams we play just my own!

What to do after losing a soccer game..?

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. This is just part and parcel of the goalie life. I guess you could ask your closest friend in your team what happened for goal #1-to goal #? Or you could just think on what you could have possibly done to save that goal.

Sometimes its the defenders error, if not always. But sometimes it might just be our blunders that make the goal(ex. Long shot taken and like 4 seconds to react but you try to catch it and it slips). Relax! Soccer is just a game and sometimes the best thing goalkeepers can do is to suck up. Because its the players that feel more down (they think that it was their fault not scoring goals or not defending properly)

My arms really hurt bad when I play badminton, but I love playing badminton. Should I continue playing with the pain?

If you love playing the sport, please don't quit. The pain is mostly due to the following reasons:Incorrect technique - All badminton shots (e.g. smash, clear, drives etc.) other than net play involves complex movement of various muscle groups of the body - fingers, wrist, arm, shoulder and back.If you're putting full pressure on one body part while hitting the shuttle (in your case, the arms), that body part is bound to hurt bad.Lack of enough strength - A certain amount of strength is required in your arm, wrist, shoulder to play the sport. It'll develop eventually as you continue to play. To develop strength, I'll advise weight training to strengthen your muscles.Use of head-heavy racquets - This might be another reason. I'd suggest use a head-light racquet to prevent pain.I'll share my own experience of learning badminton and falling love with this fantastic game:When I started playing, I'd hit the shuttle from the back of the court with all my strength and it'd go up to opponent half court at most. And my elbow joint would pain like anything.Nowadays if I put all of my strength to hit a ‘clear', it'd go long, every single time. And I don't feel a thing, even after several doubles matches where I hit smashes after smashes.Incorrect technique is mostly the reason behind a painful arm. If you take care of the technique, the pain will go away.I also attached a YouTube link for correct way to smash. This one really helped me.Keep playing!

How many shots of beer does it take to get you drunk?

I don't know how many shots but it takes me 6-8 beers to get drunk. I usually just drink beer to relax and not get drunk because if you want to get drunk then just get some hard liquor and you will drink less and get drunk faster. Also why would you take shots of beer? That doesn't make any sense.
