How To Reset An Android Phone From Pc Without Screen On

How can I reset an Android phone (Samsung) from PC without having to turn on the phone?

Assuming "whitout having to turn on the phone" as you don't want to "boot" the phone until it loads the graphical user interface, you can do the following procedures:Enter your phone into fastboot mode(For Samsung phones, to enter in fastboot mode you must turn on your phone holding the following keys combination: VOL UP/DOWN + HOME + POWER)Connect your device into your computer using a USB cableAssuming you have the Android SDK Tools (Download Android Studio and SDK Tools) already installed in your PC (and it's already added to your PATH environment variable), issue the following commands:fastboot erase userdatafastboot erase cacheIf everthing is OK, when you turn on your phone, it will prompt you for personal information, preferences, etc.If an error appears when you issue the commands, maybe it's the Device Drivers for your phone that are missing. So you'll have to install it before trying the above instructions. To check if the Device Drivers are correctly installed and working, when connected in fastboot mode, type the following command:fastboot devicesIt should output something like it:List of devices attachedab345bcef981ff           fastboot- These instructions should work for any Android device, independent of brand or model. - To enter in Fastboot mode the instructions should change for each device/brand/model- If the device you wanting to perform a Factory Data Reset has the feature "Kill Switch" (@http://www.theverge.com/2014/10/...) enabled, this procedure should fail
