How To Return Item Back To Ebay Sender For Refund

How do I return an item on eBay if the seller is refusing to accept the return?

You get a refund. The only difference between a seller whose policy is No Refunds and a seller who accepts refunds is who pays for the return shipping. If it has been less than 3o days since delivery, go to the Resolution Centre at the bottom of most eBay pages.Open a Dispute. If you don’t like the item but it is otherwise as described, you will be told to return it (with tracking) to the seller. If the item is Not As Described (blue instead of red, not working when described as used, a different model, plated instead of sterling silver, etc.) the seller will be told to send you return postage. When he does, and you ship it, watch for delivery. If the seller does not refund you on delivery, eBay will and go after him for their money.Do NOT accept an offer of a replacement. If you have passed the 30 day deadline, go to your Paypal account. The Resolution Centre is at the top of your account page under Tools. You will be required to return the item with tracking and pay for this yourself. On the other hand you have 180 days from Payment to open the dispute. No returns does not mean no refunds.

How do you return an item on Ebay?

I hoped you paid with PayPal.

Contact your seller, and tell them the situation (in a orderly manner.) Tell them what is wrong, and you would like a refund. But you are not sending it to China because you were told it was from Canada and would like to know what is going on.

If they reply and tell you, that you must ship it to China and pay the shipping. You then tell them, that you think it is unfair and you are going to go ahead and open up a PayPal dispute.

They will either comply and pay for the shipping. Send you a label, and you ship it off. Or they will not reply.

You go to PayPal and you open up a dispute claim.

You can only open up a dispute claim if the item you received is not in the description you ordered it for ect . . . (which this is the case) or if you didn't receive the item and other such matters.

You post all of your e-mails with your seller. And then explain your situation and why you think you should receive a refund. This will put a hold on their PayPal account of the amount you paid for the item.

They will know there is a hold, and that is the last thing any seller wants. They will really have no choice then but to send you a label or give you your money back. But if that doesn't work. PayPal will review the case.

When this happens, PayPal decides who is right. But if you have all of the evidence then you are in the clear.

Take a picture of the item now, and save the description of what you were supposed to get. This way you can tell PayPal you have pictures.

Good luck in this, stuff happens. This is why I don't order anything from another Country. Leave them negative feedback when your done =).

How to return an item from ebay?

He said he is going on a business trip and will not be back for 25 days. After asking him about 10 times he gave me his address, so should I send the item on a recorded delivery? However why should I have to pay for the postage as it was not my fault and to be honest I don't really want to wait 25 days to get my refund and knowing my luck it will be longer!

I got the refund for an item, but now the seller wants the item back after it's completed. What should I do?

When you buy something at a store and return it for a refund don't you normally leave the item? And did you contact the seller before 'opening a case'?Didn't you anticipate the need to send the item back? In my opinion, once you had your refund it was no longer yours technically. Did you ask the seller how to dispose of or send it back?So now the seller has no funds from the sale and has no item and you can't return it because you donated it.From my perspective both of you dropped the ball.

How long does it take to get a refund back from a seller on eBay?

The time frame for getting a refund on eBay depends on the circumstances.  It only takes a minute or two to log in and physically issue a refund.   If you’re waiting for a refund for an item you’ve returned then you must first wait for the return to be delivered. After that, the seller is supposed to issue the refund within 6 days. When a seller issues the refund there may be a delay in receiving the money depending on your original payment method. If you used a PayPal balance or bank account, the money will show up in PayPal right away. If you used a credit or debit card the refund gets put back on your card, which takes 3-30 days.

Can I deny an eBay refund?

Sure you can refuse a refund based on what you say in the sales copy. If you have wording like “no refunds”, however, none of it matters at all if your customer complains to eBay or PayPal that the product is not as listed. They will most likely side with the customer and force a refund from your PayPal account. In the world of eBay and Amazon the customer always wins, not the seller.

Ebay courtesy refund question. Do I need to return my item?

So long story short I bought a product but didn't like it and it wasn't in good condition so I wanted to return it. Afterwards I email the seller and the seller started threatening me

I filed a dispute during the process and ebay messaged me saying the refunded me the money as a Courtesy refund. So the money came from ebay and not the seller

The seller then emailed me threatening that I was commiting fraud and the refund was a mistake done by ebay therefore I must return the product and he holds the key to my ebay future

do I need to return the product? and was it a mistake by ebay?

Ebay never said anything. It just said it was giving me a courtesy refund

and Paypal said it ruled in my favor

None of the sites said return the product. Ebay also closed the case

Does Ebay take back there Ebay Bucks if a seller refunds my money through Paypal?

If the seller has refunded your money via PayPal and cancelled the transaction with eBay - then yes your eBay Bucks earned for that particular transaction will be removed. If this happens after you've spent them - your eBay Bucks account balance could go negative. But since redemption is not until April- it is unlikely you will be able to spend them before they are removed. If the seller did not cancel the transaction with eBay - then eBay does not know and your Bucks earned would not be removed- however, the seller will be charged normal fees associated with the transaction. It could be that the seller has not yet gone through the process of cancelling the transaction with eBay- you might ask them.

Here is the official word from the Terms and Conditions for eBay Bucks:
2.4 For returned or otherwise refunded items, eBay will reduce an Eligible Participant's Rewards balance in any Earn Period (even if the item was returned or refunded after the Eligible Participant already redeemed Rewards for such item) and this may result in a negative Rewards balance. eBay reserves the right to place a hold or suspend an Eligible Participant's eBay Bucks membership account in the Program if a negative Rewards balance is not reversed within 3 months.

My ebay seller won't give me a refund?

I purchased an item on ebay, and the seller had a refund policy where I would get my money back if I returned the item in 7 days. Since it didn't work out, I returned it. Then the seller told me when she received the returned item, I had scratched it and she would not give me my refund. The next day, she started an auction again with the SAME item she sold to me that was apparently useless after I supposedly scratched it. Is there a way to contact ebay about this scam, and more importantly, get my money back???
Thanks!
