How To Send E-mail To All My Contacts

Send email to all contacts?

First...make note of this
You can only send to a maximum of 100 addresses at a time and no more than 50 to the same domain IE: @yahoo.com.... This is to prevent SPAMMERS from overdoing it... This includes any CATEGORY you formulate to make it easier sending to multiple addresses. If more than one CATEGORY the total of BOTH cannot exceed the restrictions.

If you want to hide all addresses from one another put 100 in the BCC line and put NOTHING in the TO line ... recipients will see UNDISCLOSED RECIPIENT in the TO line which does not effect anything...

You will know when you have reached your limit when you receive notification from Yahoo advising you have reached your limit...When this happens you may have to wait a half hour or so before you can continue sending messages with many email addresses...Normally, after receiving this notification you can still send emails with messages containing only a few email addresses..
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
It is best to use the BCC line when sending...this explains how

Any address that you don't want the others to know that they are receiving it must be placed in the BCC line

MAIL CLASSIC

Click on INSERT ADDRESSES which is located just above the TO line. Once your contact list comes up place a check mark in the BCC box to the left of the address you want there.....If it is a CATEGORY you want click on CATEGORIES and once those are displayed put a check mark in the BCC box and then click on INSERT ADDRESSES..
This list will also be brought up by clicking on the TO....CC ....SHOW BCC.

ALL NEW MAIL

There is no INSERT ADDRESSES so you must click on SHOW BCC which follows the TO line. This in turn brings up the BCC line. Click on BCC.
When the list comes up you will see where your CATEGORIES are inner mingled with the individual addresses. You will have to hilite those that you want in the BCC line by clicking on them and adding them one at a time. Hopefully, they are in a category, which makes it easier.

In either case above ... if you pick a category...once that is inserted you can add individual addresses by putting a comma after the last one showing and after each one you add except for the last one.

If you find ALL NEW MAIL a little inconvenient you can switch to MAIL CLASSIC by clicking on options...One of those will be to go to Mail Classic

How do you send an email to all your contacts in Gmail?

As gmail is most common email network used by customers but sometimes uncertainities happens with users like , a user might face issue in sending a mail to all his contacts in one click etc.for such kind of issues you might get third party party  independent Gmail Customer Service at any time .You can easily send a message to multiple people at once, from a few friends to a large group of people. Here are a few options.Choose a few recipientsClick Compose to start writing your message. In the "To" text field, write each person's email address, separated by commas. As you type each address, you may see an auto-complete suggestion that you can click to add that address.     Tip: Everyone in the "To" or "CC" fields will be able to see who else you send this message to. If you'd rather be more discreet, add people to the "Bcc" field so that they can't see who else received this message.  Write your message and click Send. That message will be sent to everyone you added. If you need to edit or select multiple contacts, hold down the Ctrl key or the Cmd key on your keyboard and select multiple contacts. When you’re composing or replying to a message, hover over a  contact’s name to see the email address associated with it, and  double-click a contact’s name to edit it. If you have multiple email  addresses linked to a contact, you’ll see your contact’s email address  as well as name (e.g. John Smith (johnsmith@gmail.com).You can also select people from your Contacts page by checking the box next to each person then clicking Email in the group details pane. Create a group of recipientsIf you often send messages to the same set of people, consider  creating a contact group to make it easier to email that entire set of  people. For example, when you're writing an email, you can choose your  contact group "Soccer club" as your recipient rather than entering in  each person's email address separately.

How did a virus send email to all my contacts?

Depends on what virus and if it even was a virus. Here are the 2 main instances it could happen:1. It wasn’t really a virus, but a phishing kind of trojan spam, and you allowed it to access your gmail without realizing it was dangerous. There was a big outbreak of this a couple months ago. This would be more of a trojan to your email (if that makes any sense) or it could be a separate scenario where your email was hacked.2. The virus (which would be a really bad infection if it were a virus), installed it’s own mail program to send spam or used one currently on your computer, and it then (most likely) recorded information you entered into your browser when signing in.The 1st one is the one that most likely happened. You got a spam email and somehow allowed it to access your gmail. It then automatically sent spam to people. Here’s a picture of a random way the 1st could work. This is just a diagram and I just found the image online. If it just says this, it couldn’t really do anything. If it says more and/or implies that it could send emails and view your contacts, it has potential to be dangerous. If you allowed something to do so, then the trojan could easily send out spam to your contacts. There are other ways a virus could access your gmail through gmail or spam but this is the main way.The second instance is where your computer did have a virus. An actual virus could take a programming language called Visual Basic, which has power to automatically send emails and do app stuff, and use it to send spam to your contacts. That’s basically it.I worded this pretty horribly here (my apologies), so if you’d like to read more about ways viruses could access your email, here are some links:How Computer Viruses WorkDon't Open That Google Doc Unless You're Positive It's LegitIn the end, get an AV like Malwarebytes Free Cyber Security & Anti-Malware Software (MB is not to be used without a standard AV with it as it’s a secondary antivirus) or Kaspersky (https://usa.kaspersky.com/) and scan your computer, and also you should get AdwCleaner as it finds stuff most AV’s don’t (Adwcleaner is definitely not to be used alone as it’s not technically a true AV but just an virus removal tool). Then you have to change your password to your email and maybe use 2 step verification to be safe.
