How To Stay Out Of The Drama Will The Drama Go On Into High School

How do I deal with High School drama?

Ok, so I've gotten into a fight with a girl who was previously my friend. Every time I talk to her she's always mean to me, but she says its just a joke and she says the same thing to everyone else- but when shes around me, its always about me. At first it was, oh haha thats very funny, but now its not. It's annoying and rude so I decided to ask her about it.

I was mad earlier and said I was gonna cuss her out- which I thought over and didn't. I decided to talk to her rationally about it, and she got all mad and called me a ***** behind my back. Then she said I didn't have the balls to follow up on what I'd said I do, and that made me mad because I'm a really nice person- I'm NEVER mean.So I decided its time to put her in her place- because she's a ***** to a lot of people. So then we got into this fight- she was saying mostly untrue things and I was saying true things. We apologized to each other (me first, then her) and then she decided to insult me again and and then after a bit I finally said this is enough and ignored her texts. I don't know what she said after that, but I'm afraid of whats gonna happen in school. She might get people to ostracize me, or knowing her, she might get into a physical fight with me....I thought she was my friend, but I guess not. What do I do?

Does girl drama go away in high school?

I hate drama so much and i just want it all to be over. half the time people tell me that it all goes away in high school and its so much better, and the other half people are telling me that it gets ten times worse. please tell me your experience, and please don't lie for my benefit. thanks.

Why is there so much drama in high school?

Because High School is full of teenagers, and teenagers tend to start drama over anything, specially girls. People who start drama over every little thing are immature, and most teenagers are immature, so yeah... Kinda makes sense to me.

How do I escape high school drama?

Based on my experience, the best way to escape high school drama is to not get involved.I know, easier said than done. But just avoiding the more prolific manufacturers of drama (popularly known as the “drama queens” goes a long way. It also helps if you try to stay on the middle rungs of the social ladder. Go too high, and you'll have to deal with the popular kids and staying on top. Go too low, and you'll have to deal with being picked on and/or staying out of trouble. But the best way to avoid drama, if you can manage it, is to avoid dating or romantic relationships. I'm not saying that you can never ever have a boyfriend/ girlfriend/ significant other ever. But before you pursue a relationship with that special someone, be aware that any baggage that person has will soon become your responsibility, and that being romantically attatched to someone inevitably invites conflict.

Does the stupid high-school drama end at college?

I'm so tired of the bullshit at school. I'm a senior for Pete's sake, this should be my best year and it is my worst. I'm hoping it ends in college, because if it doesn't, my head might explode. I want to be free at college and talk to whoever I want, whenever. I want to go out and stay out for how long as a I please. This clique bullshit can go to hell. All this drama and hierarchy can go kill itself.

High school is not going well for me. There's too much drama in my social life. Not only that but my teachers stress me out with too much schoolwork and tests. How can I de-stress and balance things out?

Try to take some time to focus on yourself.Spend an hour or two after school every day (after dinner or whenever is best for you) studying and doing homework. If you stay caught up on your schoolwork you’ll feel a lot less stressed.Find things to do that make you feel good, whether that’s just sitting in your room watching Netflix, or going for a run. Just spend some time with yourself and figure out what you enjoy. Having hobbies or interests that can keep you entertained by yourself will give you a chance to destress.Stop thinking about your friends so much, focus on other things. Keep yourself busy so you don’t have time to worry about those kinds of things, and try not to enter negative conversations, if you don’t make it your business it doesn’t need to affect and stress you. Stay away from the drama.Stay strong & true to yourself, you’re going to be okay.

Quotes/advice about people who can't let go of high school drama?

Wow, these people must not have much of a life if they keep on having to dredge up old high school drama. I think you’re wise not to say anything to dispel such childish rumors and such. Here are a few quotes in support of that….

“There is no reply to the ignorant like keeping silence.” Proverb

"Silence is a source of great strength." Lao Tzu

“Silence is the most perfect expression of scorn.” George Bernard Shaw

“Silence is one of the hardest arguments to refute.” ~Josh Billings

“There are times when silence has the loudest voice.” ~Leroy Brownlow

“Rumor is like bees; the more you fight them the more you don't get rid of them.” Henry Wheeler Shaw (used pseudonyms Josh Billings and Uncle Esek)

As for the quotes you requested, I hope at least one of these fits the bill…

"Do what you feel in your heart to be right, for you'll be criticized anyway." -- Eleanor Roosevelt

“Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people.” Eleanor Roosevelt

“Rumor travels faster, but it don't stay put as long as truth.” Will Rogers

“He who throws dirt always loses ground.” Unknown Source

“False rumors die of their own stench.” - Paul Chatfield (a/k/a Horace Smith)

“Gossip is the opiate of the oppressed.” Erica Jong

“One who defames another's character, also defames his own.” African Proverb

“Life is short, don't waste time worrying about what people think of you. Hold on to the ones that care; in the end they will be the only ones there.” Author Unknown

“There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won’t anymore, and who always will. So don’t worry about people from your past; there’s a reason why they didn’t make it to your future.” Author Unknown

Wishing you all the best.
