How do I stop stressing and over thinking 24/7?
First of all, worrying constantly could shorten your life, but this is unlikely to have such a huge effect that you'll die at a young age. Just at a younger age. You've probably heard people say 'stop worrying' before, but you'll know already that saying this is useless. This is because you can never simply 'stop worrying' -it's something you have to learn. The best way to learn to stop worrying about things, is to see everything more logically: -First of all, look at one of your problems. Think of what is causing your problem. -Secondly, think of whether or not this problem can be solved. -If you can do something about it, then there's no need to worry -just go ahead and do it. -If there's nothing you can do about it, then there's no point in worrying! From this you can see that worry is only caused by indecision. It may take some time to learn, but the more you try to think like this, the easier life will be for you.
How to stop over thinking death and end of life ?
Death is no mystery to God. He is all-knowing. He has told us what happens after we die through the Bible. Ecclesiastes 9:5 says "For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten." When we die we cease to exist. Psalm 146:4 states that when someone dies "his thoughts do perish". There is no separate part of us that comes out of us when we die. Our life is like the flame of a candle. When put out the flame does not go anywhere, it's simply gone. Take time out to read the scriptures and gain comfort from them. Why not talk with your parents as well? They are there to help you...use them ***Though we may die, God promises faithful ones a hope of resurrection and he promises a time when "death will be no more" (Revelation 21:4)!*** (see sources)
How to stop over-thinking everything?
Hey guys, my name's Jonathan and I'm now 19. When I was younger, it seemed as though, my thought process was much more instinctive and hasty. I often understood the circumstances surrounding me and developed a solution within a matter of seconds. The only way I can explain it would be a semi-conscious decision. It's as if I saw everything at once and understood it, without dissecting every individual detail. Now I over-think EVERYTHING. At a younger age I made very wise decisions, just one day I began analyzing my thought process, dissecting every intricate detail and now I can't stop. Everything I do I analyze, whether it be stepping out of my car, opening a door etc. I've always been a logical thinker, but I constantly think about how I develop my solutions and conclusions, and now everything is harder to process. The best way I can explain it is this, when I was younger everything was processed as thoughts, now it's as if I'm processing thoughts as words. Like I'm literally talking to myself inside my head saying, "Well, Jonathan you could've grabbed the under-side of the door handle instead of the side, why did you do that?" Then, I observe other people and try to figure out how they differ from me and their thought process. The constant dissection drives me insane. I can't just simply think and do, it's very hard to explain. It's as if you're looking to cut an apple, you pick up a knife understanding it's purpose. I however, would have to consciously analyze the knife's purpose every time I pick it up, even though I know what it's used for. This conscious analyzation of everything I encounter is, as you might have already assumed, very hindering. I'm sorry if my explainations won't suffice, it's a very difficult matter to discuss. Try standing up from your chair and taking a walk around your room, after sitting down, try it again consciously thinking about where you're placing your feet, how you look, why you decided to walk the direction you chose etc. That's my everyday life. Please help, I'd just like to return to conventional methods of thinking. Thank you. PS: This isn't an issue when I first wake up and it typically progresses throughout the day.
How to stop overthinking in dates?
Listen just relax and try not think too much. I am a girl that doesn't make the first move because I'm really shy sometimes and don't know if my boyfriend would want me to or not, but trust me I am ALWAYS dying to be near him every second. When he makes a move I always go for it too. I think you should calm down, relax, and just have a good time with her and kiss her. And if she doesn't like it for some reason, she's not worth it, but to be honest I think she will love it. So go for it. :)
How to stop over thinking things with my girlfriend?
Wow that was long lol. But you need to relax, she is still in love with you. I know when I text people and they don't reply fast, it's because they're with friends, or they're doing something, or they forgot about their phone. When I was in a relationship with my first boyfriend, I used to lay in my bed thinking the exact same things. Is there a reason why you're thinking that? Because I know I thought that because he's a really flirty and outgoing person and he would flirt with a lot of other girls when we were dating. So, I asked him about it but apparently that was too clingy so he started cheating on me and we broke up. Not saying that is going to happen to you, but if you are thinking that, I would re-evaluate the relationship. Why are you thinking those things? Does she flirt with other guys? Do other guys flirt with her? Secondly, you could ask her about it. If you're brave enough, tell her how you're feeling. Just calm down, and know she still loves you, and she's not cheating by what u wrote. Sorry the answer's do long haha. Good luck to you :)
