How To Survive My Last Two Years Of High School

How to survive my last two years of High School?

As a guy who experienced the same as what you're going through now, and went to 4 high schools each year. I can honestly say. Just tough it out. When i passed 8th grade to my first high school. i moved two hours away as well and spent my freshman year with strangers that i didn't like. Just like you, im not very good with fitting in as im introverted. It was an all black school. but i didn't mind it. it was just the area we moved in was very ghetto and every one was ignorant. after that year, i couldn't take it anymore and changed schools. The next school was extremely prejudice to the point i began suffering from depression. and failed all but one class. The third year luckily, i went back to my home state and went to school, but for half a semester because i couldn't stay. So i had to go back and finish my school year at the school i went to at first. Turns out that i actually had to repeat 10th grade over again when i was supposed to be sophomore, that upsetted me, but later. It wasnt as bad because i began to mentally mature and i focused on what i was doing and didn't care about anyone there. i hated them, but i didnt let it get in my way, i still did not want to be there. later on in that year i felt that i wasn't going to graduate. my grades and GPA were low. i missed alot of days and generally wasnt doing well, but i didn't wanna drop out. Finally, I was able to move on out of that school. my aunt agreed to let me go to the school that she was a counselor in, and it was in my home state, but not the same school as before. it was my 4th and last highschool year. after those 3 years of turbulence, i most likely lost my social/communication skills, so i made little friends but focused more on my work and graduating. i earned honor roll 3/4 quarters of school and finally graduated. ON TIME.

Basically what im saying is it will get hard, but it will pay off. stay strong and power through it. don't let people get in your way or bring you down. Just remember what you're in school for. To get your, diploma, to make your family proud, to make yourself proud, or to prove your inner doubts wrong and that you can last 4 years in highschool, (or two in your case). your mind will mature faster If you're above everyone else mentally. Who knows, you may even return to your old school at some point. Just know that It will all be rewarding in the end. Trust me.

How do I survive my last 2 years in high school?

High school is nothing. You've got to be more enthusiastic. When you wake up, you won't be so tired after you've showered and everything. I have that same problem. I go to bed at a little before nine and wake up at six in the morning. You're going to be tired no matter what, but not for long. Don't care about those annoying little girls and insecure little boys. If they don't care about you, you shouldn't care about them. And, apparently, you are more mature than those people. Trust me. Don't worry about high school. Because in a few years, you'll probably be rich and famous and all those people who think they're freaking Gandhi will be the ones who are on the streets, strung out on drugs, asking you for a job.

How do you survive your last year of high school?

It seems like a never ending series of obstacles, stress, and sleepless nights but trust me you're going to miss it. I just finished my senior year and it feels like it flew by. It's really a brutal 6 months. College applications feel take up more time than most classes and a rejection letter feels worse than any failed test. But it's an epic finale to your pre adult life and you gotta enjoy every high and low moment. The best parts are definitely The first college acceptance or career placement Feeling like the biggest kids on campusAll the social events (prom)Taking the most interesting classesThe joke that is being a second semester seniorGraduatingEnjoying summer knowing only bigger and better things are around the corner And finally getting away from everyone that is not your friend. Good luck and have fun!

How do I survive the last 2 years of high school with no friends, depression, and anxiety?

I know it doesn’t seem like it now and you may have heard this before, but YOUR LIFE IS NOT DEFINED BY WHO YOU ARE IN HIGH SCHOOL.The average person these days is predicted to live past the age of 100. That means these 2 years are less than 2% of your life. Focus on what you want to do with that other 98+%. Make some big goals for yourself(travel, career, fitness, anything). Do they seem scary and unattainable? Break them down into micro goals.DON’T BE AFRAID TO FAIL! Some of my biggest regrets are things I never tried when I was younger because I was afraid to fail or what other people would think.STOP CARING ABOUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK! Do and explore things that you are curious and passionate about. It’s ok to be weird or quirky - people will respect and appreciate you more than someone that just tries to be like everyone else. Try classes or activities outside of High School. Depending on where you are, you may be able to attend Community College classes on topics you actually care about for little to no tuition.EXERCISE AND EAT HEALTHY. These are two habits that WILL help you for the rest of your life in a myriad of ways, one being mental health. When it comes to exercise: don’t focus on how you look; focus on how you feel. Make goals that are based around skills, not body weight or appearance. Looking good naked is just a bonus.Keep track of the days you feel especially low or anxious - you may begin to notice a pattern. Hormones can hugely influence your mood but knowing these feelings will pass can offer some level of comfort. Also know that you have more control over your feelings than you think. We may not have a lot of control of things that happen to us but you can make a choice on your attitude towards each situation. You may think that you are all alone and no one understands what you’re going through, but everyone in High School experiences some level of anxiety and/or depression - even the popular kids who have tons of friends.

How can I survive two years of high school without talking to anyone?

Boy! You are facing a tough time of your life right now. But you know what, sometimes it happens. So donot disappoint. Indulge youself more in studying and you know what there is always one guy who is worthy to be your best friend, find him and be friend with him. Ignore those fuckers till your patience says enough and after them beat the shit out of them. And remember one thing, the best revenge ever is success and you know what is the good thing about time, that it changes. You just follow your path and one day everything will be fine. All the best :)PS: Be friends with the novels/books and you will never feel alone. :)

What can I do in my last two years of high school that will help me in the future?

So the answer for you depends on your interests; there are many different experiences for different types of people, but you should really cultivate friendships (with peers and elders) that you know will last beyond high school. If you already have a core group that you're very close with, then great! That will make most of your experience memorable and happy (or at least what you remember of it).Other than that, you should probably try and find yourself through an activity, which could be anything. These are just suggestions and you should not take these as necessary or even that important.Try falling in love, if you haven't done that already.Try coding/ a (new)  sport/ a (new) instrument/ a (new) foreign language [Duolingo and/or a native speaker are best for this].Try pushing yourself physically to improve your fitness-which also varies a lot individually.Try mastering some useful software (most people think they know Excel and Word, but they don't know how to use things like macros or embedding- I'd also recommend Photoshop, Reader, GraphPad or SPSS, and Autodesk or LaTeX as additional useful software).Try working at a restaurant/shop or in a firm or in a lab and make sure it's paid, so you can get a sense of how people can and will treat you in a work environment.Try deep reading as much as you can- whether to find your academic interests or for pleasure is up to you. I'd set goals for types and numbers of books to read and I'd catalogue them to see my progress. Also, read one book at a time, and completely so you don't miss anything.Try dropping in on a college lecture and practice taking notes in the way that works best for you. This will be invaluable later on and will hone your listening skills. If that wasn't enough, make sure you have strong bonds with your family right now. You only have a limited amount of time to give them your love and support, and you will see them less frequently in the coming years. They have probably been there for you a long time if not for your whole life, so stop the needless bickering and have meaningful talks with them about who you really are and your real goals.Whatever you were looking for, I hope this helps.

Im just wondering how to survive May and June because they'll really drag out because there the last 2 months of school and there will be nothing to do (until the end of year exams). Any advice for how to survive these last few months so that they go by fast ? Thankiees :)

How can you survive off a high school diploma?

What I mean is not doing any: college, trades, or military. How can you survive off just a high school diploma?

I am curious because I am fixing to graduate high school and I know kids who aren't going to do any of the above. It gave me the thought, "How can you make it off just a high school diploma???"

I also want to know because it may encourage me more to further myself and I want to know what options open up with a high school diploma itself. So, how can you survive off a high school diploma? Are there any good-paying jobs a high school diploma offers? Can you live on your own and support yourself or a family with a high school diploma?
