You need to look at his feedback rating- every ebay user (buyer and seller) has one. You click on their number next to their name which will take you to all their feedback. Read some of the comments. There shouldn't be a lot or any negative ones there if they are a good seller. It should be mostly positive. You can also check their ratings as a seller in 4 areas: Communication, item as described, shipping price, and shipping time. Each is rated out of 5 stars. The more positive ratings the better. Keep in mind a few negative feedbacks is ok if they are a big seller with a large rating.

Invoices from overseas suppliers often miss-state the description of the products being sold, so that customs does not know that they are shipping Fake merchandise. Ebay needs to do a much better job of policing what is being sold, but that would also require that the buyers report the purchase of fake products. Accounting itself will not reveal the selling of merchandise. Like I said, Invoices can be misleading. Descriptions on inventories can also be misleading.
This guy sold me a fake golf club on ebay...?
I know 100% that the club is a fake and I have emailed him numerous times and also reported this to ebay. I found his phone number on the receipt that came with the club and gave him a call. He said that it isn't a fake and when I tried to explaint to him and ask for a refund, he hung up on me. What should I do?
