no pocket bike reguardless of cc's will ever have a vin #. that also means it will NEVER be street legal. unless u have alot of private property, its a waste of money. btw, heed this.....the cops will confiscate the bike on the spot. there will be no warning, no breaks given. it will be immediately impounded. u will also wind up getting hit with: unlicensed vehicle, no operators license, no registration, no insurance.....just for starters. by the time the court gets thru with u, u will have burned up enough coin to have put a nice sized down payment on a real steet-legal bike. this isnt just for florida, this is for all states. ignore me if u want, but i guarentee u will wish u had listened when the cop is stickin it in the trunk.

So florida changed its laws on mopeds. You can now register them and drive temperature on roads. No serial numbers, no vin, nothing. I know people do it but I don't know how.

File the forms, wait a couple of weeks (depends on the workload of the DMV office that you are using), show up to the inspection with your bike and, if passed, they will send you the necessary paperwork to register your bike with a "rebuilt" title. Remember: You have to have invoices for all work done on the bike as well as for all parts used. If you use used parts, you need the invoices to refer the VIN of the bikes from where the parts were extracted from. You also need photos (usually 4) of the bike before repair showing all damage.
