How to heal tinnitus?

Tinnitus is a ringing in the ears. It can be caused by many different things and can be very annoying. If you are experiencing a ringing noise in your ears, a natural tinnitus healer can help to stop the annoying sound.

A second cure involves use of Apple cider vinegar. A couple of tablespoons of ACV can be diluted one to one with water and dropped into the ear to stop the sensation. The vinegar is a natural healing agent that can help to reduce swelling. Its action can help to clean the ears as well.

Apple cider vinegar as a drink can also help as a natural cure to tinnitus. Persons suffering from the disorder can drink 2-3 tablespoons of ACV diluted in a glass of water two to three times daily will sometimes stop the ringing sensation.

Pre-menopausal women often suffer from tinnitus as the result of hormonal changes in the body. Some have found that over the counter hormonal creams can help to keep the hormones in balance and remedy the ringing sensation.

Tinnitus, what if I can treat it?

I've had tinnitus all my life, litterally. I grew up thinking that this really high pitched constant noise was something everyone could hear, until I asked my doctor about it.

I've seen that there are different remedies that are supposed to help mitigate/cure the noise, but now I'm wondering whether or not it would be a good idea for me.

Seeing as I've been afflicted with tinnitus my entire life, do you reckon I would react to complete silence the same way a person would react to suddenly getting tinnitus? After I found out that it wasn't a _very_ common thing, I had some anxiety issues keeping me from sleeping at night, and I required headphones with music on for long periods of time. I don't want to find myself in this situation again, this time from getting rid of the problem. Has anyone else gotten rid of tinnitus after a prolonged time, and was it anything like as disturbing as it was when you got it?

Why is there no cure for tinnitus?

Orlando,The truth is that tinnitus is incredibly complex. Not to mention its experienced by everyone differently. There is promising research on the subject, but a cure is an estimated 15+ years away. However, Since it’s completely unique to each person the current thought process is how we treat it needs to be as well. There are amazing treatment options out there that don’t fall into the current general suggestions. By that I mean hearing aids, sound therapy, behavioral therapy, and stress relief exercises.Reach out to the American Tinnitus Association and see what they say. My friend Sal GENTILE National Support Group Leader supportgroups@ata.org can probably tell you whats currently in the pipeline as far as cures go.

How can I treat Hyperacusis and Tinnitus?

Ripper, thanks for e-mailing me about this question. I'll do my best for you as I have always done in the past.

Just because someone's a doctor that doesn't mean they have all the answers. Sometimes there just aren't any, you know? And if there's no physical, measurable, observable evidence (these all describe empiric findings) then what do you want???

In addition to what you hear, tinnitus can also present with clanging, chirping, chiming, humming, crackling, rustling, clicking and beating. If yours is caused by exposure to loud noises, then peace & quiet is the answer. No Blue Tooth, no head phone or ear buds, ever. Sinus congestion, ear infections and ear wax build up can cause it. Change these conditions and the tinnitus is nearly always cured. If there has been damage to the inner ear, then this may not be repairable. Sometimes acoustic tumors (these are benign) can cause it. A head CT can rule out a few conditions that would be responsible but I'd hate to make you go through the expense if there's no real justification for one. Think horses instead of zebras and start with ear wax build up first. That's an easy fix and is a common culprit. Work your way through the list if you need to. Sinus congestion, ear infection (which can go undetected) and so on. Anyway, return to a different ENT, a young doctor if possible, and review the possiblities.

And get back to me about the acidity, my friend.

Can Ayurveda be trusted to treat tinnitus?

Yes it definetly can be trusted in this or many other ailments of chronic and acute nature.I myself have personally treated two patients if tinnitus but both wer due to different cause.. But please make you get yourself treated only by a certified ayurvedic practitioner and not any quack or pharmacist.if you go to them and don't get results don't blame Ayurveda. I could definetly suggest you some medicines here but that is not right way, u need a clinical examination And the treatment in Ayurveda for same ailment differs from person to person as per their lifestyle, natur,e body type n what we call "prakrirti "So go ahead give it a try nyou will be pleased with the results plus everyone knows it is safer way to go

Are there ways to treat or stop pulsatile tinnitus?

I have had this thumping sound in my ear since November, it goes with my heart beat. I've seen several doctors about it, an ear, nose, throat doctor, an eye doctor, had my blood and urine looked at and had MRI/MRA with contrast to look at my veins and head. They haven't found anything wrong that could cause this and they say there is nothing else they can do. So what do I do now? I'm glad nothings wrong but I want the noise to stop, is there any way to make it stop?
