How To Understand Islamism Read What Its Leaders Really

Islam is...And really,what is Islam?

Every time muslims commit some murderous attack on civilians, immediately a crowd of other muslims and Western “liberals” run to all the internet sites , as if by an order, and start “to explain” that those who committed this attack “do not interpret islam right”, that “On this earth there are 1.3 billion Muslims and only a couple of them are terrorists” , and ,of course, that it´s only some “Militant Islam “ which is to be blamed for all the suffering s muslims today bring to the world – but Islam as it was preached by the prophet Muhammad is a peaceful religion of love .
What is the difference between this bad and evil “militant islam”- and pure and peaceful…well, how to call it?Ok,let it be “Muhammad´s Islam”
So,what is the difference between “militant Islam” and “Muhammad´s Islam”?
Maybe the adepts of the militant islam do not recognize the Sacredness of the Quran and Sunnah?
They do. Moreover, they quote Quran and Sunnah extensively and know them very well.
Then, maybe the adepts of the “Muhammad`s Islam” do not recognize the Sacredness of the Quran and Sunnah?
They do. Moreover, they quote Quran and Sunnah extensively and know them very well , too.
Maybe the adepts of these two “Islams” have two different Qurans?
No, they use that same Quran which had been “revealed” to Muhammad.
Then , maybe, the adepts of one of the “Islams” do not interpret Islam right?
But both claim that only their interpretation is right, and others are “in the wrong”.
I think the only way to find out, if Islam is the religion of peace or a savage medieval bloodthirsty cult is to answer the question about which Islam is the mainstream today.
And what do you think?

Are you a Islam...what do you call them...teacher, priest, or leader?

To all that I emailed, it was me.......nas.....Carol.......and I hope you got them. I'm sorry that I asked so many questions. I was just freaking out cause I couldn't feel God around me anymore. I didn't know what to do or who to ask, it was 4 am and I couldn't call anyone. But thank you.

Why did Islam spread so quickly?

Islam spread quickly due to its military might, strategy, and large, extremely cohesive armies.Islam spread quickly because its philosophy was compelling, progressive, and was considered extremely 'modern' for its time. Universal equality? No class system? No contradictory Gods? Yes please.  These two effects provided a positive feedback to each other. Islam was religion, law system, patriotism, and spirituality all rolled up into a very convenient package that was neatly contained in one book. It was awe-inspiring and lucrative, to say the least. To draw a rough comparison, look at the United States of America of today. Back in the 1930s it was just another neck of the woods, reeling under a terrible depression. But by the end of WW-II, it became a super power. In around 70 years, 'American' products, art, thoughts, values and ideas have percolated through most of the world. It is a kind of soft-power, spread through Hollywood, TV shows, and Voice of America/CNN. Civil rights, animal rights, environmentalism, innovation etc. all took root in America and were exported to the rest of the world. In most of the modern world, the youth want more freedom, liberalism (e.g., the Arab Spring) and less authority, all thanks to the example set by the US. Islam spread in a similar manner. First, Islamic armies came in and totally pwned reigning empires. Next thing you know, they built giant, imposing mosques from where the azaan could be heard to great distances. You would notice that people bowed down to invisible deities in great congregations, and then proceed with their daily routine of ass-kickery. Knowing Arabic (later, Persian) got you places, just like English does now. You naturally began to drift towards the cultural mannerisms of the victors, just like people today take up American mannerisms (only my two cents) to 'fit in'. Accepting Islam was pretty 'cool' back then. They had the power, the success, the charm almost, to draw followers. In this perspective, it comes as no surprise that Islam spread from Morocco to present-day Pakistan very quickly. Note that this was a socio-cultural effect, and not something 'ordained' by Islam (the religion).

SubhanAllah. Allah surely does give everyone a chance to learn about Islam, in his special way.?

Ok, so basic background about me and the question I had in mind. I grew up in USA and almost all my close friends, etc. are non-Muslim. So I had a question in mind, how is it fair to all those good individuals who didn't grow up Muslims to go to hell in the Hereafter.
When I asked this question to a scholor, he said everyone does have a chance to learn about Islam, I couldn't understand how this to clearly.

First to make things clear in Islam if you die before maturing (puberty) as a non-Muslim you will still go to Heaven.

So anyways Islam is spreading rapidly, it is the fastest growing religion, in fact just today I heard about an orginization that makes copies of the Qur'an translation and sends them to houses with a lovely note saying its a gift, and if they don't want it call a number and someone will pick it up.

But what about the places where Muslims aren't around to spread it?

Allah has his own ways, I realized living in USA, specially around a 'white', 'country' area, people still hear about it--- the Media, probably the strongest voice in the Universe.

Although we hear negative things in the media-- people SHOULD question themselves "How in the world is the largest GROWING religion, and the 2nd biggest religion after christianity (which includes, cathloic, orthadox, and 100+ different types)....how in the world can this many people follow a religion that teaches killing, violence, etc?" Simple answer stop listening to CNN, FOX, etc. and do research, it is the biggest discussed religion in America, and it isn't the religion of the country. Most christians (those just by the name) know more about Islam than they do their own religion!
Its amazing how the word can be spread and when people actually do the research, for an UNBIASED PERSPECTIVE all their questions are answered!

Islam has many, many approaches, my favorite, scientific evidence, spritual, moral, and many many more. Quran really is the guidance to life!

That being said, ask yourself, do you know about judaism, buddism, hinduism, the most word you hear is about ISLAM doesn't that make the non-Muslims as well as Muslims expand their knowledge and learn what it TRUE!

Alhumdulillah.

Is there a general consensus amongst Yahoo!Answers that all Muslims are terrorists?

All the questions on Islam, the majority of answers are feel that ALL Muslims have the "potential" to become terrorists.
That Islam is not a religion of peace, but one that incites hatred and violence.
Nothing is futher from the truth.
But when I try to explain this, I am labelled a "Muslim Apologist".
Its infuriating.

Any thoughts?
