My Facebook account has been locked?
This sounds like a scam. Facebook would NEVER go this far to do something like this further more they wouldn't lock your account. When i signed in to facebook from an unkown computer they only had the message of the location of where you had logged in from the unknown computer, and the time and date. Then you would confirm it by entering your username and password then there you go you're in! But in your case, my guess is that someone was phishing for you information. If its possible, can you give me the exact URL that you got this message? I'll try to help in anyway possible :) **Edit The Official Site of Facebook absolutly wouldn't do this. I need the link of the website that you got that message...if you can't find the link then the only thing left to do is to quickly report this to the police. I dont think the police could to much but its worth a shot. **Edit I agree with Daniel, i looked into it more and i guess the page is real. i read on a post that this one guy had his account hacked, did all the information you just did and it took as long as a week for them to get the account back up. ok i got a solution for u , here's the steps: 1- create another account 2- register ur same exact number used on ur suspended account and confirm it 3- you will receive an email at ur suspended accounts email telling you that the number has been removed from ur account an registered to someone els 4- now try to login to ur suspended account , it will give you 2 ways to verify ur account ( recognizing ur friends pics , or use phone ) now u can verify ur account .. i used pictures to not fail in the phone troubles again good luck Source(s): tried it myself , worked like a charm

Facebook Temporarily locked my account!?!?
So I just got home from work and I try to open facebook on the iPad and it tells me that Facebook temporarily locked my account. "We've locked your account because someone recently tried to log in from an unfamiliar location. Please help us confirm that it was you who tried to log in." Then it has a button that says continue but the screen just keeps reloading. This happens on the iPad, the computer and my phone. It's not even allowing me to go to the next step and I can't contact facebook support because I need to be connected to facebook to do so and I'm locked out. Has anyone had this problem? How long will it be locked?
