Yes they do unlock phones...unfortunately they are idiots who do not even know their own policies most of the time. I am an iOS Technical Advisor and i cannot tell you how many customers have called because Sprint told them to call us to get the device unlocked. The device is on their network so they are the only ones that can approve it. If they give you a hard time and try telling you to call Apple just tell them you already have and you were told to contact them. I have also noticed their customer service is a bit less experienced and less devoted than most other carriers.
