How To Use Two Networks Simultaneously.

Is there a way I can sign in to two Yammer networks simultaneously? I use the web app, and Yammer doesn't seem to provide multiple sign-ins, or adding two networks.

You can use Chrome's multiple profiles feature and have different profiles logged in to their respective Yammer accounts.Another way is to use Scuttlebutt on the Mac -  Mac OS X Yammer Client

How can I simultaneously connect to two wireless routers (networks) on my Windows 10 laptop? One for Internet, other for network drives?

You can not connect to more wireless networks if you have only one wireless network card. If you want to connect, use more than one NICs, but then that can cause some problem. normally, u have a NIC for Wired connection and One for Wireless. so better connect to one router with Wired Connection and to other router with Wireless Card.

Can I use Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections simultaneously?

Sure you can.You router/access point/switch is an integrated device that allows simultaneous access via wire and wirelessly. You can also use simultaneously the ethernet cable and a wifi connection from your laptop, connecting to two different networks, and choose which link to use basing on destination address you want to connect to via static routes.

Is it possible to use two WiFi networks at the same time on a device?

You could easily put two WiFi adapters in a device and have them join different networks. But this likely wouldn't do what you want because the routing tables would send most all traffic over only one of the adapters. What you are asking for is called Channel bonding and it requires a specialized routing configuration to setup. What this does is take multiple physical interfaces and bundle their links together as if they were one larger interface and link. For this to work, both sides of the physical link need to be configured for this use.

What is the difference between multi-user and networking?

Multiuser refers to a single system. Precisely what that system is can vary – it could be an individual computer, a cluster, or simply a single application running on a computer. However, it must support multiple users (usually but not always a real life person) simultaneously. Most definitions of multiuser preclude systems that allow multiple users to log in at different times.

Networks in contrast are the access mechanism by which people may access the multiuser system. Not all multiuser systems use networks – they could be terminals connected to a single machine by serial ports for instance – but networks are the most common arrangement nowadays.

If you consider a typical office network the majority of workstations are mostly single user since only a single person uses them at any one time. However, other devices such as printers, the file server or the router providing internet access to the network support all the users at once – they are multiuser devices. Even the workstations may have some multiuser functionality: for example, they may be sharing the odd file over the network that can be accessed by more than one person, but that would not typically be enough for you to describe the whole as a multiuser system.

How can I connect to two different wifi networks at same time on Android or PC (Windows 7)?

No it is not possible with a default single wifi card . But if you have multiple wifi dongles plugged into your PC, you can connect to two different networks. In case of Android phone, it is not possible…

What happens when I connect to two networks with my Windows 10 machine? If I connected to a WiFi network (not mine) while also being hooked up to my own router via ethernet, how would Windows decide which network/IP to use for internet traffic?

Whenever I have tried this, the traffic appeared to go through the wired connection rather than wireless. I think there is an assumption that wired is faster, more stable and more reliable and therefore is preferred when there is a choice. Here’s how to change the network adapter priority, which determines which adapter is used.Open Network and Sharing Center in the Control PanelClick Change adapter settingsRight click an adapter, such as WiFi and select PropertiesDouble click Internet Protocol Version 4Click Advanced on the General tabOn the IP settings tab, down at the bottom is Automatic metric. Clear the checkbox and enter a number. The higher it is the higher priority it has. Set it to 5 for example and it will be prefered to network adapters with 1, 2, 3, or 4.This enables you to choose which adapter is used, but unless you have a reason to change the default setting, leave it alone.

How do I connect a laptop to two networks (wired and Wi-Fi) at the same time?

There would need to be more specifics to give you a more specific answer, but generally speaking, assuming they are two different networks with two different IP schemes, you just connect both of them, and leave the gateway address blank on one of the two. This is because the default gateway tells the computer which network card you want to use to access the Internet beyond the local network you have. So usually, in this scenario, I would have a laptop with WiFi turned on and set up to only access the local WiFi network, and then the cabled network would provide access to that local network and the Internet.Note - they must be two separate networks (you can inadvertantly create routing loops if you have older or cheap equipment otherwise and take down entire networks) and they must have different IP schemes. For example, it is impossible to access two different 192.168.1.x subnets at the same time through different mediums, obviously.
