How To Work Out My Grade So Far

How to work out what percentage of an overall grade percentage I have??

(83 x .15) + (68 x .10) + (50 x .30) + (61 x .10) = 40.35 so far

If you got a 100 on the final then your grade will be (83 x .15) + (68 x .10) + (50 x .30) + (61 x .10) + (100 x .35) = 75.35

How to calculate my grade so far?

I'm taking a college statistics class that is just plain killing me. Unfortunately I can't drop this class because it is required and I need to figure out my dreaded grade so far. The professor is dropping one of our lowest scores. The low scores are due to running out of time and having to submit some answers blank. The weighted total is as follows.

Test 30%
Quiz 25%
Data Project 10%
Participation 15%
Final Exam 20%

These are my grades so far:
Quiz 1- 100
Quiz 2- 53.21
Test 1- 80
Quiz 3- 70
Quiz 4- 28.57
Test 2- 34
Quiz 5- 50
Data Project 100
Participation- 100
Final ?

We have not done our final as of yet but I still want to calculate it. I'm dreading how bad it will effect my GPA. Right now I have an "A" in another class I'm taking but I know this will bring my GPA down :-(

Calculate my university grade so far?

hi, i've just started my third yr at uni and i wanted to calculate whether im on schedule for a 2.1 at the moment.

All my module results are given to me in a percentage:

1st-70% and above
2.1-60%-69%
2.2-50%-59%

etc.

i wanted to know if there was a way to group those percentages together to find the average or something like that. I'd just like to know wot im on course for at the moment if i continue at the same level i have been.

Thank you.

Need help calculating what grade I have so far for my class? 10pts?

Well, this doesn't really mean anything... that is because you could get anything from 0 -> 100 % of the points for the rest of the total.

But assuming that the 25% of the grade is all there is, then that means that the quiz is worth half as much as either the other things.

so assuming for simplicity that the total possible for each assignment is 10pts and 5pts for the quiz
then you got 9 pts + 4.5 pts + 6 pts = 19.5pts

so your grade is 19.5/25 possible points = .78 or a C+ in most cases.

Help with finding out my grade so far and what is needed on my final?

I can't seem to figure out my grade when a teacher says this is 20 % and this is 3 % so tell me if I figured this out correctly.

Exam grades 20 % each

First exam 77
Second exam 61
Third exam 67
Homework average 14 %
My homework average is 98.5 %
Two writing projects 3 % each

First writing project 81
Second writing project 90 %

So I took 77 x .20 + 67 x .20 + 61 x .20 + 98.5 x .14 + 81 x .03 + 90 x .03 now my final is next Thursday if I figured this out correctly as long as I get a 52 at least I will finish with a 70 % even if I got a 100 I couldn't finish with an 80 %. So have I figured this out correctly?

Are AP classes in 9th grade hard?

Ok… how do I say this…Firstly, best of luck.I don’t see any reason why you would take all AP classes as a 9th grader, it’d only risk your weighted GPA as well as your transcript.I’ll describe it through my situation, though not as intense.I’m in 8th Grade at the moment7th Grade: AP Calc AB (5)8th Grade: AP World (Required), AP Stats, AP Calc BC, Post-AP Lin Alg and Calc 3, AP Compsci, AP Calc BC (Just the test, studied over summer)That’s what I’ve done so far. As far as the workload, it’s decent - I especially lean towards math, engineering and Physics though.I don’t really see a reason to take all AP Classes in 9th grade though. I mean, if you take it in 8th grade it won’t count on your weighted GPA, but still shows up on your transcript, meaning it only really matters if you do good. However, any 9th grade AP scores are non-terminable, and it’d just be really risky. To be fair, this is what I theoretically could take next year*Note: No way am I going to take this many AP courses.Post-AP Differential Equations (Math)AP Gov (Social Studies REQUIRED)AP Psych (Elective)AP Macroeconomics (Elective)AP Microeconomics (Elective)Honors English Language (REQUIRED)Honors English Literature (REQUIRED)AP Physics C Mechanics (Science, since I’ve done MVC[Calc3])AP Physics C Electricity and Magnetism (Science, since I’ve done MVC[Calc3])AP ChineseSo, if I wanted to slowly drown myself in AP tests, I could theoretically take 7 AP courses, 2 Honors Courses, and 1 Post-AP in 9th Grade. Plus, toss in AP Phys (1/2) just for added insanity.Rest assured, there is no way I am ever going to do that.I’d say at most 4–5? It’s really a new experience. If you’re taking upwards of 7 APs in freshman year, you’d probably already have to be well versed in half the subjects already.Well, study hard. It might just work out.

What is my grade percentage?

Class average so far:
(80+62)/2 = 71 which I am guessing is a C

Maximum possible grade:
(80+62+100)/3 = 80.66 which I am guessing is a low B

So yes if you get a VERY high A you can get a B. You have to get a 98, however (calculated form ((80*3)-(80+62))).
