Aaaah I've done this haha. I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing because I thought only it was only me who ever thinks of these things - but i'll tell you how it went for me.I was with someone who didn't like their life or themselves and they dated me while they planned to move. I was fully aware of this but he spoke about us continuing dating when he left. Cut to the chase, he leaves suddenly and I don't even get a goodbye. I knew where he was going to work (he was going with a friend of mine and we had all talked about it). So after a month, I wrote a letter. sent it and I heard nothing - that was over a year ago.Now I'm not saying don't write a letter. For me, I felt like I still had a lot left to say and he got to just run away - but also that I wanted him to know I wish him well. It was therapeutic in some ways to write and send. But in my opinion, don't write it just to get him back. Write it for yourself.
