How to write a conclusion?

A successful conclusion should restate your thesis statement without repeating it exactly. It should also state your opinion--not only that they exemplified courage, but why you think these particular characters were the epitome of courage. Then you should relate that opinion back to the body paragraphs--again without being redundant. Conclude by making your statement emphatic (solid & hard to argue).

i.e. Courage is a character trait most everyone sees as admirable. There were three characters in TKAM who displayed the kind of courage rarely seen and always admired. Through their strength of character, determination and will-power, they were all able to overcome any obstacle, regardless of the possible repercussions. These people were true heroes, outstanding individuals, who capture the essence of courage.

I am having trouble writing a conclusion to my paper (I’ve never been very good at conclusions) What I have is a research paper about the advantages and disadvantages of homework. It’s about twenty two pages long and I basically define homework, the types of homework, advantages, and disadvantages and then propose an effective homework plan. Besides summarizing my research (no opinion in the paper so I can’t summarize that) what would be a good way to do my conclusion?

So if you are using 3 supporting clauses introduced up top, you simple seque from the 3rd supporting clause to a recap of the proof of your thesis
