How Well Is The Skype On A Ps Vita

Should I get a Ps Vita?

Ipod touch is good for simple time killing apps/games. Some games push fancy graphics, but lack substance. The games are made to be cheap and displosable - you get what you pay for. Like you said (most) games available lack depth, and cannot fully immerse you in gameplay like a console game does. In the end you'd probably end up using your iPod touch for it's primary purpose - Music & Video (which it is great at).

With the PSVita you get a gaming machine with a 5" OLED that delivers beautiful pristine colours at a great resolution. Titles cost more, but are developed by leading studios to give you a now-generation" console quality experience in the palm(s) of your hands. Physical buttons, and dual analogue sticks are a blessing to any gamer at heart. The vita also has a VERY responsive multitouch screen and multitouch pad on the rear, for added functionality and navigation. Besides textchatting you can also voicechat with other vita users. It plays music, video, has maps, facebook, foursquare, flickr, livetweet, Netflix(US), MusicUnlimited(selected countries) and internet browser. Skype coming soon. The Vita does have downsides though - the browser doesn't have flashplayer - so no youtube streaming (kinda Adobe's fault, but Sony should have seen it coming). The camera is poopness (its not primarily for pics - but still). Battery is just good enough. You also NEED a memory card - and they're not cheap. You might also want to visit the PSN store to see if any of the games actually interest you before making a decision though.

People often say that the PSVita is for "hardcore" gamers. I say the PSVita is just "for gamers". It doesn't matter whetther you're casual or not - If you want to PLAY, PSVita is the way to do it.
If you want to compromise there's always 3DS (cheaper, but still awesome in its own way :)).

Netflix ps vita??????? ?

wifi is required to watch netflix because it is a streaming service.

Is there still a way to get Skype on a PS Vita?

PlayStation discontinue the app early this year and the ones who had it, had until June 2016 to use it then it would be useless. I'm sorry to say there's isn't any other way to get it from what I can tell. PlayStation also ended support with YouTube app and the facebook app So it wasn't only Skype.

Does video call on skype require skype credit?

no
but you have to make sure it's a skype call
skype account to skype account is 100% free

Can you use a ps3 controller on the ps vita?

Eaglekeeper is right. You actually do not need the controller when you already have a better one. You got the dual analog stick and the back sensor pad which is a better alternative for the L1,l2, R1, R2. It has double camera one for pic taking while other for the skype or video chatting. And to be frank the 5" screen is big enough so believe me you do not need the hdmi out anyway.

From my bookmarks here is a good review on the Ps vita and the one version you should be getting to maximize the fun:

How to log in to Skype with MSN account?

Hello there, so I downloaded Skype on my phone, was about to register when I saw the "login through Microsoft Account" option or something similar. I clicked it and it worked, so I logged in through this manner on all my devices in which I downloaded Skype in to. I have a PS Vita, downloaded Skype and tried to log in. The option mentioned above is not present... I tried all possible combinations I could think of and no success, How do I do this? Do I even have a "SkypeID" and "password," because I though I was using MSN..... any help?

I tried stuff like:
(My msn):live
live:(msn)
(msn)
(Display name)
(E-mail)

^ can't even try because @ is not accepted...

What would happen if you put a PS Vita game into a PSP?

If you mean, what if you modify a Vita to run a PSP game, the result could be that you realize that the gaming experience you felt on the PSP is no longer attractive or desirable. At for me, this is the case. The Vita is so much more enjoyable. Running a emulator on the Vita does not really upgrade the PSP game.

Playstation Vita vs. PSP 3000?

Should I buy a PSP 3000 now or wait for the PSV (Playstation Vita) to be released?

I'm really only considering three things for this:
My need for music
a decent game selection
Wi-Fi connectivity

I've never had any Playstation or PSP before (I've grown up only knowing Nintendo) but I have played some of the games and I really like the selection for both. Nintendo is way too casual and Xbox is way too hardcore (and I'm never going to pay for multiplayer/live... ever. But this really has nothing to do with the discussion, so back to the topic... PORTABLE systems...)

I was given a Gameboy Advanced SP a while back... right before the DS came out and I felt like it had been a slap in the face. I could have played these older games AND the new ones for DS only. So for years, I have been considering selling the SP and using the money to buy a DS Lite (the newest one that still has backwards compatibility)

But now my iPod, which I have also been happy with for 5 years, is starting to have issues; I suspect that it won't last much longer.

So I decided that I might as well get a PSP to satisfy my need for music as well as have a new game selection. I wasn't even going to bother with the PSP-Go since there wasn't much of a difference between that and PSP 3000. And besides, I've never really cared about the game selection for nintendo.

So I was about to buy a PSP 3000, but decided to do a bit more research... and then I heard about the Vita! WTF! It sounds ok as a system, but it hasn't been released yet. And Sony seems like it's going to focus on the Vita from now on more so than the PSP. I don't want to have an indirect slap-in-the-face again, like with the SP. So I don't know anymore...

Should I buy a PSP 3000 now or wait for the PSV to release (and then wait another 8 months for the price to lower)???
