Way to describe mixed-race white girl?
Race is all just an invented concept anyway. You have to have a sense of humor about it. My boyfriend is half Indian and half white. He looks more Indian but a bit lighter (black hair, green eyes), but his brother looks white (light brown hair, green eyes). They joke that my bf has to identify himself as Indian, but his brother has to say he is white. One of my Japanese friends described my boyfriend as "off-white". (I don't know if you have that word in the UK. In the US it is used to describe paint color that's almost white but isn't quite.) We thought that was very funny, and we always joke that that is what he should write on documents that ask his race. I'm white (blond hair, blue eyes) and my boyfriend and I have decided that if we have kids we will give them extremely ethnic Indian names to go with his Indian last name. It will be funny, because they will almost certainly look completely white. Oh yeah, but mulatto is an antiquated term. It might be construed as a slur. I think you should go with "off-white" or make up your own term. I like the idea of defining yourself. People may ask what it means, and you will tell them your background, and it will be something kind of funny and cool about you instead of something you need to feel weird about.

Ahhh you must have a beautiful complexion.. Lucky girl you :) Of course you can use a fake tan but wear a medium to light one because if it's too dark you might end up with streaks. I am very fair but I never use fake tan because it always ends up orangy on me :( I suggest you buy a well recommended tanner.

Well based on what I’ve seen and observed in everyday life and the media caramel tan light girls like myself tend to be attracted to mixed guys. Are they attracted to us I still have yet to see and believe but I know sienna orange girls of all races and ethnicity may feel attracted to mixed race guys or “light skins” but usually guys who are basically mixed with whitish skin and two black and white parents. Yes. Girls like mixed race guys. But like everyone some are cute to girls and certain ones may look ugly to some girls.! Is "mulatto" a bad word to describe mixed-race (black and white) people?
My mother is black and my father is white. people describe me as mulatto. In my country it's a normal word...mulatto are people with mixed-race (b/w) and their skin colour is neither black or white. But since I came to USA I heard some people saying that mulatto is a bad word. If I want to describe myself or someone with the same skin colour as me I should just say a black or a mixed-race person.

Yeah, of course... I actually think more mixed girls look better than white and black girls because they get the best of both features. Lots of mixes are great though. I think Italian and black is the best one out there. I think in our country people stereotype to believe that if you're half black/half white you're automatically ''black''... but I really don't see it that way. There's more white people in America than black people so you're more likely to end up with a white guy. Especially if that's more of who's around you. Mixed girls though are really pretty... Im in high school :) typical teen, i have flaws and i have my 'vain' days as well i guess. Im mixed, half asian (my dads indian) half black/ white (my mums black and white) i know, strange family :D I look a LOT more asian than anything but my hair is naturally curly (inherited from black side). There is this guy i like, i usually go for black guys and this is the first time im attracted to a white/asian guy.
