One among the many waiting lists specified in Indian Railways, (also — the one leading to lot of uncertainty) — is TQWL (which was termed CKWL earlier to December 2016).Some need-to-know things about ‘Tatkal waiting list’:If tatkal ticket goes up, it directly gets confirmed and doesn’t go through RAC status unlike GNWL.During chart preparation, general waiting list (GNWL) is preferred over tatkal waiting list (TQWL) therefore tatkal waitlisted tickets are less likely to get confirmed.Your Problem:If the TQWL ticket had not been confirmed, the full amount will be refunded back* after a deducting of a certain amount of clerk-age fee**.* Refund Procedure —Money will be sent back to your bank account (for e-tickets — for which payment was made through any mode of online banking).If you had physically booked a ticket, then go to the nearest reservation counter and surrender the ticket, where they will provide you an acknowledgement slip and will also mention a date for you to come and collect the refund amount.** Clerk-age fee that is deducted from Ticket —Full refund of fare will be given, after deducting the clerk-age charges per passenger. ANSWERCKWL or Tatkal waiting list: For tatkal tickets, the waiting list issued is CKWL. You don't need to cancel your CKWL tatkal ticket.If it doesn't get confirmed refund will automatically be made by IRCTC and if u'll cancel it 25% will be deducted.For the second part, remember that you are not the only one booking the ticket online at a particular time. There are a number of users concurrently doing transactions. So while your transaction is being processed, many others complete theirs and the tickets get booked. The result - your ticket gets booked in waitlist.If you want to avoid this situation, just check the box which says "Book only if confirmed berths are alloted", while filling up the passenger details. Now, if you do not get a confirmed berth, the site will prompt you whether you want to proceed with booking or not. So you can cancel the booking then.IMPORTANT: The money will still be debited from your account, but it will be refunded in full, unlike the refund at the time of chart preparation, in which service charges etc. are not refunded.HOPE THIS HAS HELPED YOU*****HAVE A GOOD DAY*****
Will Concert Tickets work if the credit card was cancelled?
My son stole my credit card and spent over 300 on concert tickets for him and his friends... I contacted the bank and had the card cancelled. They are refunding my money. My son is under the impression that the tickets will still work and he got over on the system. I'm trying to tell him it's not true, If he goes to the concert his electronic ticket will not work. Did he really out smart me and the system or am I right... BTW the concert is in 3 months I don't think the tickets will work three months from now... can't they cancel electronic tickets. I don't approve of this concert
