i have left China for 4 years and recently i got back. i am very surprised by the change of my city, where i live in shenyang of northeast china. when i left, the 8rmv exchanged to 1dollor , and now since america goverment and some other country force chinese currency float for trade,so almost everyday the value of chinses money is up, like now 6.4rmb exchange into 1 dollor, which is up 0.1 rmb since i got back in 2 monthes. really right now one rmb is not enough. everything like food,clothes is cost a lot. in my city,even people's salary is up like 1200 rmb at least per month, but there is still not enough speed to catch up with the ecomic.like some young people they don't have enough money left to save. but because the cutrual is different than america, their parents in lucky saved their whole life money to give their children to buy house or for their marrieagment. China is developping is so fast, almost every year build buildings,, that's is why i got lost when i was just going somewhere in my own city. Iam living in Al, people i know always have very old China idea, which i really don't like .And i really hope the tv or something reports more about China. in my city, we don't really sell gallon milk, but we seperate into small sack 220ml for like 1.6 - 35 rmb ,it's depend on brand. we eat almost like America now, specially the young generation more like fast food, burger,hamber, or pizza. if you are in china, you will very easily to find M ,K, pizza hot. this time i found people more like sushi now, you can find it everywhere superwalmart, grociauc store. hope it helps, happy to ask me more questions.
