I want my jeans to sit on my waist and mid-rise or high-rise jeans will do that perfectly.Men’s jeans suck. They have the shape of long tubes which hang straight down, and they are far too heavy. A strong belt, tightly pulled across the waist is the only thing holding them up on me.Women’s jeans, being noticeably lighter, don’t require a tourniquet-type belt to hold them up. I can wear some styles of women’s jeans without any belt at all.The main “give-away” or “reveal” when men wear women’s jeans is the designer logo on the back pocket which is fairly common on women’s jeans. Men’s jeans (Levi’s, Lee, Wrangler) typically have a leather-like emblem sewn onto the waist. The denim is thicker, generally more coarse, and without question can take far more abuse than women’s jeans which are more of a fashion statement than they are just a utilitarian garment.A stylist I worked with many years ago turned me onto women’s jeans and I haven’t looked back - even once - to this day.
Do men still wear Levis 501 Jeans?
I'm getting ready to buy 5 pair of jeans and am wondering if men still wear Levis 501 Button Fly Jeans? I'm 41 years old and don't want to look like an idiot doofus wearing them. Do women like them? Are they stylish? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Originally (1870s), the number 501 was purely internal to signify the series of style for the jeans. Since then, each magnitude has a separate function to differentiate each fit of jean and internally as separate cuts of denim:Hundreds: the five series is traditionally for men's jeans, but has widened a bit to include all boxier cuts, including the 501 through 569 which are men's, as well as the shaping 530 series for women. A seven denotes a traditional women's jean, curvier in all places. There may (?) be a three series that I believe is/was for children.Tens: this nebulously denotes the rise of the jean. This is how high on your waist the jeans should sit. The rule of thumb is that a 0 means it ought to sit at waist, a little above the hips. Anything above this tends to mean sitting below the waist, as both the 510 and 559 do. However this has some seemingly arbitrary exceptions, including [but not limited to] the 550, which sits at the waist, and the 721, which is a high rise jean above the waist.Ones: this differentiates between leg openings within a series and rise. I was looking in Foleys and Dillards for 529 mens jeans and they didnt have them anymore, were they replaced by a different jean? If so, which number fits the same? The description for Levi 529 is Low-Rise Straight

Does anyone know the differences between these pants? I'm a girl but I need straight leg (don't get small or big at the end...just normal guy pants) jeans. What's the official number for the style I'm looking for? Thanks!
Where can I find Mens Jeans in size 28 x 34?
I agree that clothing for the small male is hard to find. I've found that even at 32 if I go into the USA I can hardly find clothes that fit. I mean I've found pants that're 28 and fit, which is nuts. I say try a store that sells European clothing, whatever is in your area. I like H&M and have had luck there with jeans that fit. The idea being that European fashions cater more to the smaller person. Also try a big jean store like Jeanmachine, they have a large selection. The other easy-ish option is to have them tailored, it might be a pain in the *** but it should be doable. The last option that I've heard about recently is to buy women's jeans, because they do fit tighter. Appearantly it's a huge growing trend for men nowadays. Errr just don't mention that they're women's heh.
