Hr Managers Which Certification Would Help Me More

What is the best human resources certification?

In recent years, there has been a growing appreciation for the benefits of HR credentials among HR professionals. Increasing competition for HR jobs means that greater number of employers are listing HR certification as “required” rather than “preferred” on their job postings. The increasing number of certified HR professionals indicates that this type of credential is now seen as fundamental for HR professionals facing complex challenges in their careers. Whether dealing with talent management, payroll and employee benefits, or labor relations and risk management, the skills required to pass the HR certification exams become requisite by employers and employees. There are some industry level debates going on in regards to which specific certification has the most clout but recent data suggests that it doesn’t necessarily matter which certification you hold just as long as you have one. Certificate Program in Hospitality Management? PLEASE Help!?

Hello, I am planning to attend Florida International University
http://hospitality.fiu.edu/programs.asp?programs=certificate_programs_non-degree_students

To get a certificate in hospitality management. I was wondering how far it would get me in the hospitality industry? Obviously its not as good as a degree but if I get an entry level position, would I be able to be promoted for higher positions later years with a certificate?

I am not bright on these topics, so please if anyone could enlighten me. I'd much appreciate it.

P.S. Im currently in a community college with less than 30 credits so far. Should I finish this off and then go for a certiciate so i'll have both a degree and a certificate.....or should i just go for a certificate without finishing off the community college?
