Hurt Wrist But No Bruise

Wrist pain but no swelling or bruising?

I have pain in my wrist that is located mainly in my wrist, on the side closest to my pinkie. I didn't fall on it, I just leaned onto it and all of the sudden, I had this very severe pain shooting through it. Now when I move it, and especially when i pick up something with any kind of weight to it or put any pressure on it, i get the same severe pain shooting through it. There is absolutely no swelling or bruising in my wrist.
does anyone have any idea what this could be?
Also, I'm a 22 year old girl. (idk if that'll help any but i figured id put it in there)

Arm hurts bad, but there's no bruise?

My daughter did that when she was 5 and it was broken. I felt really bad because I didn't take her to the doctor until the next day. So, go to the doctor

Sore and bruised wrist but not swollen, is it broken?

You should first use RICE... R= rest I= ice C= compression and E= elevation. If it hurts really bad take some meds like Tylenol or Motirin. Use an ace wrap to compress your wrist so you don't move in any way that you don't hurt it worse. I would definitely make an appointment with my doctor or go to the ER because you should get it x-rayed to be sure it isn't broken or fractured. But try to use it rarely to keep it from getting worse or hurting. I hope you feel better and I hope this helps.

Is m wrist sprained, fractured, or bruised?

I hit my hand rly hard against a wall yesterday it really hurts there was only a little swelling and no bruising but I can't even run my fingers over it without it hurting. It's my left hand on the left wrist part below the pinkie. I can move my fingers but when I bend my wrist it hurts. Idk if you can sprain your wrist by hitting it really hard so please help! It is kind of making my hand stiff and certain movements make it hurt reallly bad. The pain is off and on.

No swelling or bruising but sharp pain in wrist and forearm?

I fell off my bike yesterday and caught my self with my arm. Now it hurts like crazy. Im scared its fractured or sprained. My mom said it probably is one or the other. I cant move my thumb or wrist without sharp pain sending all the way up to my elbow. I can move my elbow up and down and can move my other fingers. However i cant put any weight on my arm and cant pick hardly anything up other than my own phone. Im so confused since there is no swelling or discolorization. Just sharp pain.

Any suggestions of whats wrong with it?

Im a cheerleader and every now and then when stunting my wrist hurts so i use wrst braces while i stunt and theyre fine. After cheer camp i had to get out my heavy duty brace because my left wrist has been killing me. It hurts so bad. Its been almost 3 days and the pain is getting worse. What could this be? It hurts when ever i bend it or squeeze things or just move it. Its not swollen or bruised so what could be the problem?

How much money could I possibly get for a shutter bruising my wrist at work?

A shutter? Inanimate object? I know you’re referring to some person using or constructing a shutter, which hurt you?Generally speaking, damages = money. Money damages are awarded for only 2 reasons: 1. to compensate and make whole (to the extent possible) and 2. to punish bad behavior. If someone using or building shutters hurt you you must show that a. you had the right to be there at that moment. For instance, a thief couldn’t sue the bank he was trying to rob it. If you had the right to be there, the second requirement is that you were damaged (hurt) by the shutters. Third, even if you had the right to be there AND you were hurt by the shutters, you must prove that someone was responsible NOT to hurt you with the shutters, and did notwithstanding his duty NOT to hurt you with them.If you prove ALL of the above the final thing you must prove your “damages.” Did you have to go to the hospital? Did you save the bill? Add up your damages. Is there enough damages to hire a lawyer? Most lawyers I know won’t get involved unless your damages amount to $20,000.00. This is because lawyers don’t charge you an hourly rate to get money for you. The charge a percentage of the amount they recover for you, usually 1/3 of the money. Therefore if the damages don’t amount to <$20,000, it wouldn’t be worth the effort it takes to recover it for you. Sorry I can’t be more specific for you.

Can you have a broken wrist without bruising, swelling?

usually no not a full out break. But a fracture yes. and a fracture can turn INTO a break if you don't treat it like a break. If you can't move your wrist, DONT try to move it. (put ice on it and keep it STILL)

Go get an XRay and even if they don't see anything they should put a cast on.. if it feels like you can't move it, because it hurts a lot.. dont FURKIN move it!!! that's what a cast is for!! A lot of times people break bones and the fractures fits back to itself so well that it looks like it was never broken on an XRAY so if you doctor tells you else wise, tell him to GO FISH, because he's doing a SHISTY job.

You body is designed to tell you when something is MESSED the HEck UP... listen to you body, don't be a pussy and get your hand checked out, you need it for a long time.

How quick do bruises show up after you are hit?

It can depend how badly you are bruised.A bruise is blood that has leaked (bled) out of broken blood vessels. If it’s come from a vein then it may already be dark, and show up immediately. If the bruise is well oxygenated blood from capillaries it may initially only be a red mark, and not look like a bruise until the surrounding tissue has used the oxygen from the blood and replaced it with carbon dioxide.Small bruises and blood blisters can sometimes be prevented by applying immediate pressure and holding it for a few minutes. This reduces the amount of space for the blood to bleed into, and the vessels quickly re-seal. I’ve used this technique numerous times to stop blood blisters on my fingers.NOTE: Heparinoid ointment/cream (e.g. Hirudoid) applied to a bruise within 4–6 hours, then up to 4 times a day, can help get rid of the bruise quickly.
