I find it hilarious anyone think Harris is “gifted” at anything. Covering her ass perhaps…but a questioner…Harris’ duplicitous and misleading grilling of Kavanaugh serves as a reminder that she has a long history of being a sneaky, self-serving, anti-liberty law enforcement official.By many account she was a petty tyrant who regularly advocated for absurdly harsh penalties, all while protecting her corrupt friends in government. She was a cheerleader for civil asset forfeiture. i remember carter promising to never lie to the american people. i cannot recall that he ever did lie, but i find it hard to believe that any u.s. president it not a profound liar. of course i realize that we have no right to expect barack obama not to be a profound liar, but that is another issue.

Possibly. Trump has openly talked about imprisoning those who disagree with him. He is becoming bolder as he tightens his grip on the country. He has a base who will believe and do whatever he says. He threatens the press, our allies, the justice system and our basic freedoms. He was able to deny due process to immigrants and ignored the courts when they went against him. He threatened judges based on their ancestry, he threatened women who had proof that he was lying about payoffs and affairs. He protects Nazis and emboldens racists while spouting alternate facts (lies) that are supported by his propaganda machine (Fox News, Breitbart). He is driven by money, his ego and revenge against Obama who mocked him at a Washington Press dinner. Part of his agenda has been to overturn or cripple everything Obama put in place or supported. This includes rules for clean air and water, healthcare, the Iran nuclear treaty, NAFTA, the Trans Pacific partnership, NATO, public lands, consumer protections, financial rules to avoid another meltdown, protection for endangered species, animal cruelty laws, free trade, sanctions against Russia for invading Crimea, meals on wheels, unions, employee protections and the right to legal recourse, states rights, women’s rights, the right to assemble, veterans benefits, education funding, space research, basic scientific research, noaa, cancer research, ethics laws, nepotism rules, renewable energy, technology leadership, net neutrality to name a few. So yes, Obama might go to jail along with many others as Trump’s authoritarian regime looks to silence dissent and suppress individual liberty while catering to the financial elite and his handlers who lurk in the shadows
