Hy Are So Many Horsey People On The Internet Such Ba****ds

Scary situation for me this morning, Dog Sectioners.?

I would have the vet keep her for observation -- pheobarbatol is the usual medication for siezures. The question is why she's having them.

I'd contact her breeder and also the pug club of ameria to find out more.

I did find this on the pug club of america, please take it to your vet:

It's a hard scary read on what you may be going through

Which type of horse should a beginner own first?

The horse I purchased for my husband impressed me by failing to react negatively when I rode her for the first time after an off period of two years. I had expected a buck or two, maybe some skittishness, head tossing, some expression of extreme displeasure at the sudden end of her vacation. She just plodded along like she had been ridden regularly. Now I rode her quite a bit before purchase, and before declaring her safe for my hubby, but her kind, pleasant, easy going disposition is why she is now his.  What you want is an unflappable, kind old trooper who will take care of you when you need it and take direction otherwise.  Geldings tend to be quieter and less expensive than mares all other things being equal. One more thing to consider is saddle fit. My husband's mare has one big flaw.  She is BROAD, round, fat, witherless, basically hard to find a saddle for. (I eventually spent $700 on her western draft tree saddle, used). An average build can make  finding affordable equipment easier. Too narrow or too broad is harder to fit. It was actually easier to find a saddle for my mule than his horse, believe it or not. Also, you may need help with horse chores if you have a bad back, small hay bales are 40lbs, feed bags are 40-50lbs or more and mucking stalls is heavy labor. A western saddle can weigh 35lbs or more (much less for synthetic) and an english saddle 20lbs for leather. They have to be lifted onto the horses back and placed gently, not slammed down. My three are a small workout twice a day every day at feeding time and they are pastured so no mucking. I wouldn't give them up even though I am feeding them with the flu this week, but it is a lot of work.

What is so wrong with a girl having male friends?

I'd like to play devils advocate to say the opposite, rather than yell into the echo-chamber and say there is no problem.Disclaimer, I don't think there is really a problem, just stereotypes.I think that one of the reasons why people think there is a problem with one or the other is the implications with a female only having male friends or the opposite.I'm gonna start with Male with only Female friends. When you see a guy with only female friends, there are several things that come to mind. The guy is desperate for female attentionThe guy cannot make friends with males and instead only talks to females. The guy wants to get into 1 or all of their pants. When we look at this list, there are some problems. 1 and 3 are sad (in the sense that they can't balance having male and female friends) and 2 just means they have some social problems with making friends.I think In this case 2 is the least sad and 3 is the most sad. In case 2 though, I think that if you can have female friends, you should be able to have male friends too. Maybe you have gotten bored of guys and just stopped talking to them. I think that happened to me in high school, I just got bored of guys because girls were just better at talking and that's pretty much what I wanted to do.For females there are different set of “social rules” and possible stereotypical explanations. The girl wants male attention. The girl can't make friends with other girls. The girl want's the get into one of all of their pants.I think someone already mentioned in theirs answers that one of the things that comes to mind is with girls being drama queens and starting so many fights that others reject that girl and she can only hang out with guys. I know some people like this and it happens. Sometimes it isn't their fault because I know sometimes especially younger groups of people choose something really stupid to defriend someone for and them rumor are garbage.Honestly we can say there are no problems and maybe there aren't but there are stereotypes for a reason. Are they fair? No but neither is assuming a bear will attack you for petting her cub. We have evolved to be stereotypical and it works.Basically, there are stereotypes that are looked down upon and humans, even if they don't look down on them, will have a slight bias against it.

Why is cricket betting illegal in India?

Betting on cricket which is considered as a “game of chance” in India (not because of legislative definition but due to a Supreme Court precedent) and is hence illegal. Betting on a game of chance contrasts with a game of skill such as horse racing which is granted more leeway.Broadly, there is no precise legal framework to regulate online betting in India at the moment. Gambling activity is a state subject and is governed by the 150 year old Public Gambling Act of 1867. Subject to state sanction, gambling is declared as illegal in most state of India, barring Sikkim, Daman, and Goa. Nevertheless since online betting doesn’t find an explicit mention in the Act, most companies open offshore entities to operate and bypass this legal loophole - so technically one can bet through them but there is an underlying risk of course.

Is a Masters degree in artificial intelligence worthwhile to pursue in terms of job opportunities, salary, and future growth of the field?

Well, it depends, of course ;)In my field (robotics) there are roughly two kinds of people: engineers who can't code, and AI researchers who can't do anything but AI. Speaking in *very* general terms, the latter group tends not not understand hardware and has a hard time understanding how to apply their work to real-world applications.  What there tends not to be are people who know how to speak the software developers' language *and* the mechanical engineers' language *and* the AI/algorithms designers' language. You specifically mentioned a Master's Degree, which is not typically considered a research degree, so I assume you are interested in having a job where you work as part of a team developing real products, rather than going into pure AI research (which is a very respectable career). In my humble opinion, if you want to make yourself utterly invaluable in such a career, educate yourself to understand as many of the subdisciplines as possible. Learn AI, sure. But also learn mechanical engineering, and dynamics and controls, and digital logic design and software engineering. So, whatever your bachelor's degree was in, get a Master's in something else. If your BS was in Comp. Sci., get a Master's in ME. Or Controls. Or EE. It will be harder and it will take longer. But you will never be unemployed, and ultimately you will do better work.
