I Accidentally Let A Secret Slip

I accidentally let a secret slip?

In high school (4 years ago) in junior year, I had a friend who was going through a confused phase I think because she thought she was gay. I said I'd be there for her regardless and support her and it was all good however my mom found out by accident and did not approve and banned me from talking to her. She went to...extreme measures to make sure I dump her because she thought my friend would turn me gay....
Well I was in shock for a while but I quickly decided that she was wrong. So I lied to her and said I was hanging out with "emma" but I was really hanging with Julie. I have lied to her since then and am still am however my friend has kind of...gotten over being gay (haha) and is engaged to a guy she loves deeply. But I know I am an adult and don't need to have mom tell me what to do anymore, but she still scares me. I still lie to her because I fear about her freaking out and throwing lamps again at the walls.
But just now I accidentally let her name slip while talking to my mom. She didn't really react much but I think she noticed and then I changed the topic. I am really scared I don't want her to be all upset and sad that I've been lying to her for 4 years. Advice?

My friend is mad at me because I accidentally let it slip to her side boyfriend that she has a serious, main boyfriend. She told me the side bf knew, but he didn't. Am I really guilty though?

My friend is mad at me because I accidentally let it slip to her side boyfriend that she has a serious, main boyfriend. She told me the side bf knew, but he didn't. Am I really guilty though? Not if the pic in your profile is yours … wearing a blue top and a mini-skirt .But, more seriously speaking, you are not guilty of telling her standby BF, if she had indeed told you that he knew of his true status in her social settings. Koz, technically and truly, you tell someone only if they hadn’t known. She gave you to rely that he knew of his rank as a standby and accepted it, then she must take the full responsibily for all the consequences, including responsibility for potentially making him look as a flake/fagget in your mind. Now, no one knows better than you why you told the standby person what you told him. If your motive was malicious then you too take full responsibily. If it was not, e.g. just gossip or its likes, then you committed a brownie (moral) wrong-doing in the form of gossipping and getting inlvolved where you were safer without it. Lesson learned for wising up purposes. No one is without mistakes. Life experience is the best school for smart people like you.Congrats.

Did Snape accidentally let slip the fact that Lupin was a werewolf?

I support the theory what says the curse on the DADA position affected both Snape and Remus. Think of it a bit deeper! Snape was not the type who just accidentally let slip secrets… was he? Or was he a tripple agent master spy? If Snape wanted to keep a secret then he did, since he kept his own secret for decades. Of course even he could not resist a powerful curse casted by Lord Voldemort. And if he did it intentionally…? Even that would be understandable. First, despite all of his good qualities and heroism, Snape was a bitter man filled with bad feelings and naturally vengeful. Why wouldn't he strike back on his childhood bully? Not to mention he was a Head of Hause and a teacher responsible for ‘’his’’ children. From The Deathly Hallows we know how deedly he cared about the safety of his students. He undertook the Headmaster's position only because of them. He pretended to be indifferent most of the time, but through the series he proved to have a paternal instinct toward children (he went admirable far for Draco, Harry and all the kids involved in the ministry incident). He detested Lupin and protested against him all year. Snape was slightly racist! Yes, he was! But not that was his main reason for hating him. Lupin almost killed Snape once and Snape of course never forgot it. And what everyone seems to ignore, Lupin was bloody dangerous!!! Letting in into a school an infectious beast was not a good idea from Dumbledore - no wonder Snape protested -, and after Lupin foolishly forgot to take his medicine (I can imagine) Snape’s brain blew up.

How to keep a cat a secret in a NO PETS apartment?

No, you can not. You moved into a place that doesn't allow pets. If they find out it is there you could be kicked out and forfeit your last month and security. Or, like many do, end up dumping the poor cat at a shelter. How would that be fair to the cat?

If you want a cat - MOVE.

Oh God I feel just terrible. I accidentally blabbed a friends huge secret to a mutual friend!?

This girl lives in my dorm, we were sort of friends in high school. She lives next door, so she told me she is 18 and dating a 30 year old man. I wasn't supposed to tell anyone because if her parents found out they would freak out, and she doesn't want other people our age to know. Well I was having a conversation with a mutual friend and I accidentally let it slip. I was like oh _____ is always fighting with her boyfriend... Mutual friend says "SHE HAS A BOYFRIEND!" I say "Promise not to tell! We live very close to eachother and it would be horrible if there was tension..." She goes alright. And Then I say "The reason she hasn't told anyone is because he is 30. She freaks and said that she is going to confront her.

Oh jeez what can I do... I see her everywhere she hasn't called or texted me or anything... I'm worried if she sees me she's gonna be super pissed...

I didn't mean to do that! Me and my big mouth how do I fix it??!

Secret pet bird in apartment?

It has been my personal experience, that, when I was straightforward with a landlord, did not charge me any kind of deposit for a pet bird nor had any qualm with small caged birds. Landlords are more concerned about cats, dogs, and other animals that have acquired reputations for tearing up apartments and houses. As it is hard to keep a budgie quiet when you want it to be quiet, I'd ask the landlord. He or she probably won't mind. And, for budgies, my neighbors have enjoyed their sounds, unlike larger birds who have been known to really squawk it up from time to time. That has been my experience, anyway. As you will not be able to keep a happy, singing, chirping, clicking parakeet a secret, I suggest talking to the landlord beforehand.
