I Accidentally Sat On My Ipod 5 And Now My Button Is Jammed. What Do I Do

If my charger is connected all the time, does it get damaged?

A little more information would have been helpful. There could be two possible scenarios.1. You are talking about connecting the charger to the wall socket 24/7, whether the charger will get damaged or not.Simple answer, no, but it could be, okay not simple.Thing is most chargers this days converts the incoming AC to DC in the first stage then smooth it with capacitor, and that capacitor might have a rating of 400V, so normal 220V AC even after full bridge rectifying it won't cross 400V DC, so you are safe, you can connect it for years and if there is no load the temperature inside should be very minimum which won't damage the circuit. But spikes in voltage can cause the incoming voltage go above such values that will result in crossing the capacitor's max operating range which in tunr will damage it's life and if you connect it 24/7 chances of getting that surge is higher than normal.Anyway I keep some of my phone and tablet charges connected for 24/7 and they are still okay, but it is advised to not keep them connected all time, just turn it off when you don't need it.2. Maybe you are talking about keeping the charger connected to your phone or laptop all the time, in that case Lithium Ions usually don't want to stay at fully charged state for long time but still it is not advisable to unplug it as soon as it reaches 100% because you will be loosing valuable cycles.

Do Apple AirPods stay in your ears while working out, running, etc.?

I’m not sure how they’re ‘‘supposed” to stay in your ears. However…I got some AirPods last week. I don’t know what compelled me to buy them as I’ve always felt they look ridiculous.Anyway. I decided to wear them out for a run the day after I bought them. I was very dubious that they would stay in as they don’t feel snug like my old ear phones, which I used Comply foams on that basically go right in you ear and meld with your brain so there’s no chance of slippage. The AirPods just kinda sit in the ear and don’t feel very secure at all. I was sure that within 5 mins of running in the dark, I’d be on my hands and knees rummaging for them in the undergrowth like some kinda of weird day glow Lycra clad Apple device searching pervert. But… they stayed perfectly in place for a full 5km. Didn’t move at all. In fact, if I couldn’t hear the music coming out of them I’d have had no idea they where there at all. I’ve done other runs too, which is quite unlike me to do in quick succession - Usually I like to leave at least a week between runs, if not longer, but I just want to see if these damn things will fall out. And guess what? They don’t! You could say that in my efforts to see if they’ll fall out, AirPods are getting me fitter.I’ve even tried shaking my head a lot whilst running and doing some headbanging, which is hard when your listening to Big Band Swing Greatest Hits, but they don’t fall out, not even close.I did 7km tonight. Nothing.Tomorrow I’m going to wear them on a bike ride. That will mke the little fuckers fall out I’m sure. But they probably won’t.I have no idea how they stay in. But for me, they do, no matter what I do to try and make them fall out. They still look ridiculous though.UPDATE:There was a couple of comments, but I can’t seem to see how to respond to them, sorry.I did some push ups and the airpods stayed in the whole time. I managed 7, which was quite the feat of strength.I cycled with the Airpods once for 50km, and they stayed in just fine. It was difficult to try any head-banging as I didn’t want to fall off.I still look ridiculous wearing them, and haven’t yet been brave to wear them out in day light.

What will happen if I leave my phone in the freezer overnight?

I did this once by accident. Not overnight but for about 3 hours.I have an Exynos powered Galaxy S7 edge and anyone who uses this phone knows that once the phone is used with the Gear VR it essentially turns into burning coal. The metal chassis would be too hot for comfort at about 50°C. It never bothered me since I would simply put my phone in the fridge for about 15 minutes or in the freezer for 2 minutes and everything would be normal. So one find morning after a game of PokerVR, I noticed the phone was hot and I put it into the freezer and got occupied with other stuff. Totally forgot about the phone. 3 hours in I noticed I don't have my phone. I started searching for it but couldn't find it anywhere. After about 5 minutes I decided to try calling it and listen to it ring. I did so and I could hear a faint ring. I thought maybe it's under my blankets on the bed or stuffed in the sofa but I couldn't find it and thats when it struck me. I ran to the fridge and took out my phone. I noticed the temperature on the freezer was displayed at -8°C. To describe the condition of my phone, a thin layer of ice maybe 2mm thick had formed around the entire phone. As soon as I touched any part of the phone the ice would just start to melt. Although the phone rang when I had called it was unresponsive now. I thought I surely damaged some contact point for the display. I got a bowl of warm water and immersed the phone into it. Waited a couple of seconds and tried to turn it on. It showed battery low indicator which was surprising because I was sure I had about 80% of charge before putting it into the freezer.I decided to set the phone aside and see what happens. After 10 minutes I blew into the USB port to remove excess water and put it for charging. It charged to about 20% and then I turned the phone on. It was laggy as thought it was trying to run some advanced tech on 2001 hardware. After a few minutes it stabilized and started working properly.A year has passed since that incident and no issues what so ever.

What are the most stupid designs in Apple products (hardware and software)?

The most stupid things Apple has done is what made the the best tech company in the world. Here are the top 3:iPhoneThe idea of the iPhone was one of the worst ideas at the time but that is what makes it the best thing Apple has ever done today. At the time, people loved thisThey liked hardware that was clunky and extraneous. When Apple released the iPhone with 4 buttons, people were outraged. They hated that there was no keyboard. At the time it was stupid but longterm, it worked great.2. iPad and iPad’ iOSThe idea of the iPad was Apps. You could download software onto a big phone. There is one problem with iPad’ iOS and the physical device. The problem with the iPad’ iOS is that you could not download any software already created. All of the software for OS X or Windows couldn’t be used on an iPad. There were no apps when it came out (very few). If Apple is making it the tablet of apps, it should have apps. The second this is that the iPad is ergonomically incorrect.Apple made the iPhone 3.5 inches because that is the best size for the least strain and they won’t release a touchscreen Mac for the same reason. But the iPad is the exact opposite. It causes strain on the user which is very un-Apple.3. iMessageThe idea of iMessage is so it doesn’t use data. Apple created iMessages to go through Apple. For once Apple created a product that they have to pay a ton of money for and see no immediate returns.iMessage is great for the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac user but horrible for Apple who all the messages go through. This is not a list of mistakes Apple made but a list of stupid things that turned out amazing.

How do I make my keyboard go back to normal?

Get Rid of É on Keyboard. Find yourself typing away and go to hit the Question Mark and have É instead? press CTRL+SHIFT (press CTRL first and while holding press SHIFT, sometimes you have to do it twice in a row to disable.)

What are the best Southwest Airlines hacks?

Who needs these hacks when you could have a WHOLE row to yourself? I have personally used this hack at least 10 times on different southwest flights, at about a 75% success rate. It only works on a NON-FULL flight. (I fly a lot from DTW, and every single flight has at least some empty seats). Obviously you can't get a full row to yourself on a booked flight.First, asses weather the flight is full. Usually they will tell you if the flight is full. If the attendants say nothing about a full flight, you should be in luck. The trick is to actually move back in the boarding process. Not all the way to last, but about 5~15 people before last. This is the trickiest part, but if you get in line at the right spot you're set. What you're trying to do, is get in line so you can take one of the last available empty rows in the back.Ok so you're in the back of the line, you've gotten on the plane, find an empty row anywhere from 2-5 rows from the back of the plane. Don't take the last row. Don't take any rows further up.What you're trying to do is make your row as unattractive as possible, and as difficult to access as possible. Rows further towards the front are more attractive and easiest to access.Take the AISLE seat. Put your bag on it. Start unpacking things (ipod, sweatshirt, coat, computer, food, etc). In general, make a huge mess. The fuller the row looks, the less likely somebody is going to take it. Now if you planned correctly, there should only be a few more people that need to get on the plane. Most likely some of them will find seats in the front and middle, filling in those seats before they even reach you. But others will go to the back, and start looking for empty rows, or rows with one person. By making your row difficult to access (physically stand up and put your body in front of the row while you unpack) and unappealing, those people will fill in the other 1 person rows first, making two person rows, and leaving you to finish making a huge mess by yourself! If you can keep the charade up long enough, and everybody takes their seats, you're set! Again, about a 75% success rate when there are ~6 or more empty seats on a plane. You must be far enough back in the plane for most people not to be able to see that you have a whole row to yourself, but otherwise nobody will bother you about it! Enjoy your personal row, stretch your legs out, and relax!
