What jobs hire 15 year olds?

at 15 you can not be picky......................................
McDonald's is one of the employers that make an effort to work with minors and all of their special needs and request. most employers won't hire at 15 because of the limited availability but many restaurants go out of their way to work with those limits. when you go to apply check your attitude at the door and don't worry about what you won't do and focus on proving what you can do......................................

places you can work at 14 or older include:
office,
grocery store,
retail store,
restaurant(not just fast-food),
lodging facilities,
movie theater,
baseball park,
municipal parks,
amusement park, or
gasoline service station just to name a few……………….

different companies have different policies about hiring minors so just apply the worse thing that can happen is they say no. when you go dress neat, clean, and appropriately for the business, be polite and ask for an application and the appropriate time to bring it back. you will need references so talk to teachers, clergy, coaches, anyone you have done casual labor for, friends parents etcetera be sure to ask if you can use them as a reference and let them know to expect calls from employers

info about work permits, hours a minor can work, total number of hours each week etcetera got to:
http://www.youthrules.dol.gov
there are links for teens, parents, employers and educators for each state.

EDIT:
---simply,me---- great answer until you got to the age bit.
the age can be asked you just can't discriminate based on age for those over 40.
minors have to provide proof of age before they can work and must tell their age before being hired due to the legal limits of the hours of the day they may be scheduled. because of those limits minors can be denied employment due to AGE.

Can i get a Pet store job at 15?

I would think that if you can prove that you are dependable, trust-worthy, patient and have excellent customer service skills regardless of how the client may be acting that you would be a viable candidate. You may ask teachers and employers or the volunteer coordinator at the museum if they would mind providing you with a reference should an employer need one or require one if you decide to get a PT job.

You may want to decide how to answer the question of why you want to work at a Pet Store. A great answer can be anything from "I want to be a vet one day" to " I love snakes and want to work with even more animals". Just give it some thought before you apply.

Depending upon what state in which you live, you may have to get a work permit signed by a designated person in your school. You may want to check on that first so you'll look really prepared before they offer you the job...you can say oh I already have my work permit. Many states require them for workers under 18 but check with the school admin office first.

I think its great to get real experience before you are 21 and have never worked and think you should be the CEO right out of college....that's somewhat of an exaggeration but there are lots of grads who have never worked and its a shock when they realize the vacation is over.

Good Luck and Enjoy your New Job!!!! And the $$$ too....

Would you hire a 15 year old with no experience?

It depends on the person.I would hire someone who is 15 at minimum wage (and I have before), but I expect professionalism. I’ve done many interviews with individuals starting out in the workforce. The ones that come out and physically drop off a resume, come nicely dressed, and keep a professional manner about them while they’re dropping off a resume and during the whole interview process are typically considered.Whether you are 15, 16, 18, 25, etc as long as you show you want the job, and are willing to do what it takes and whats required, and put full effort into it. Go above and beyond my expectations and succeed, I would give you a chance.I’m well known for not even looking at many online applications for certain positions - I don’t like lazy people. In my experience, someone who is willing to take the effort and go out and hand out resumes wants (and needs) a job more badly than someone who sends out mass resumes online.LinkedIN did an advertisement a few months ago about job applicants applying for jobs then going out having fun/spending day at a beach while their online resumes “looked for a job” for them. I’m sorry, but I would never hire someone like that. If you cant put the effort and come out and physically submit a resume, or make a really personalized email, or reach out personally and ask for a job — then I’m not interested in someone that cant do that. The qualities I look for in employees are that of people who will do what it takes, go above and beyond to get a job. It’s those qualities that I want while the person is working for me.Very few 15 year old’s now a days have that, but there are still some. If you as a 15 year old has qualities like that, even with no experience, then employers would be lucky to have you, training about the job is easy. But finding young workforce that are willing to work and put their full effort into it is rare. You can follow me here. I also blog about my travel and business experiences and give advice to entrepreneurs and start-ups.

What is the best way to find a job in Dubai?

Do you want the truth? None of them. Unless of course your job profile is so unique that the employer cannot find or locate a person of your skill or calibre.Keep this much in mind - at the end of the day these Job Sites are in existence ONLY to make money. They do not care if you are the right candidate or if the client is happy - They are interested in making their money because they need to cover their expenses. And they exist to make money. So if you have the normal-run-of-the-mill job profile, then either you will never get called or if you do get called - they will employ you in droves - that is only if a company is starting from scratch (Hotel or Large Establishment). And over there - they will always go for the cheapest and best deals - which is why they normally employ people from Asia directly from agents. My suggestion to you is either check Gulf News or go through references. Thats it. And the ONLY way you will get a worthwhile job in the Middle East is through Contacts (or as they call VASTAA) in the Middle East. Please do not bank your hopes on Job Sites as 90% of all the jobs advertised are either Fake to collect Resumes for their Resume Bank or just to show the public that they have a massive demand for jobs. After all - they need to keep the ball rolling right?Loy Machedo
