I am 17 years old and don't have an idea of what I want to do with my life. Is it okay to not know at all yet? How can I find out?
It is perfectly fine to not know exactly what you want to do with your entire life, but I think it is important to know where you want to head! That way you are making decisions that are in line with your unique direction in life.I think your unique direction is a combination of passion, talent, happiness, and ideas about success.Figure out what you are passionate about. What did you love when you were 7 or 8? What could you read dozens of books about? What could you do everyday for free? Is it art, or soccer, or animals, or customer service, or technology? Try to avoid picking a specific job but instead look at a larger field.Then think about your talent or talents. What is your superpower? WHat are people calling you to help them with? What did your teachers praise you for? What comes easy to you? Is it writing, or programming, or compassion, or teaching? Your talent may be pretty close to your passion! Or it may be completely different. And it is okay to have a few.Then remind yourself what makes you happy. What kinds of things do you like to do to energize yourself? Is it having alone time, or reading books, or cooking, or traveling? Again, you may see some overlap with your passion and talent.And lastly, think about what it means to be successful. To you. Look at people you admire and note the traits they have. These may not be things that your parents or friends view as successful, but if they are to you then that’s what counts!Then put all of this information together and see the picture that it paints. It will give you the information to get clear on the direction you want to set your life in. And then as decisions and opportunities present themself, you can see how this fit with this direction you have uncovered. And then just keep moving forward. How come I don't have my period yet if I’m 17 years old?
Menstruation is a rite of passage for a young lady, it may feel isolating for you to be the only one among your friends not to have experienced this yet. I think you need encouragement to go see a Dr. You can ask your friends which gynecologist they are seeing. You can call your insurance carrier and ask for Drs under your plan. I remember being intimated by the thought of going to the gyno, so I want you to know you don’t have to go alone. A friend or family member can go with you to the appointment -even into the exam if that is your wish. If you have female relatives I also encourage you to ask when they first had their period so you will know if it’s a family trait to menstaruate at a later age. I am 17 years old. I don't have a job and I don’t know how to drive. Am I a loser?
I did not get my license until around 3 months after my 21st birthday (I’m 24)— this happened because I used to get anxiety from driving and would prefer to either use the city bus or depend on either my parents, my brother, or my friends for a ride. I really had to force myself to get over the fear since I did not want to bum rides for the rest of my life. I also did not get a job until I was 19. After my first year in college, I did not work or go to school. It was quite honestly the most boring summer of my life. My second year in college, I managed to get employed on campus, Overall, I massively enjoy the freedom of only depending on myself to get to where I want to go and, of course, I enjoy earning my own money. You’re 17— you’re probably in your last year of high school and it is totally okay to not work or drive even if some of your own peers have one or the other. You know when people actually start judging you for not driving or working? It is usually when you’re nearing your mid-twenties AND if you complain about not driving or working. At around that age, you’re old enough to change that, so you have to put in the effort.Short answer, no you’re not a loser.BUT if you want to change about how you feel about yourself in those aspects, then you must work towards getting those goals. Once I managed to work and drive, my self-esteem went way up. For now, just enjoy your senior year in high school and concentrate on getting into college (if you choose to do so) :)

Why don’t I get periods when I am 17 years old?
Since you’ve already had scans and hormone tests, I would guess that your ovaries are simply not “done” developing. Most people mistakenly think that they are developed when periods begin but that’s wrong. They can take a longer time than that, often not reaching full development until age 21 or 22.One thing that can halt development is the use of hormonal contraceptives, so you should avoid those.I would suggest ovarian cysts or tumors, but the scans should have picked up on that. If you have had a stop-start menstrual cycle, then you may have been pregnant and had a miscarriage (that looked like a period) IF you are sexually active.What kind of hormonal tests were done? There should be one that also looks for excess testosterone, which could also account for your acne. First of all, this is TOTALLY NORMAL! So, don't think you have to have it all figured out at 17. Man, if I tried to have figured it out when I was 17, there was NO way I would see the amazing journey my life was going to take me on. I couldn't have imagined that I'd have the job I have (because there wasn't anything remotely resembling social media when I was 17 lol), the husband or baby I have, or that it was going to take me 20 years to find my groove. Yep. TWENTY YEARS. I'm not saying it will take you that long, and here are some tips so that it doesn't:Figure out what you love to do. What is(are) your passion(s)?Then, figure out how to do it for a living. Where do you need to live? Where do you need to go to school? What schooling do you need? Can you intern now with someone in your field? What will you need to do to make it happen?Then, do it.But, if you don't know where to start. It's fine. You're only 17. Travel the world. Take classes in what you want to learn. Volunteer. Get out and see as much as the world as you can. It will come to you, and probably when you least expect it.

Listen, don't want to freak u out, but it's not exactly normal. I'm 15 and my penis is 5"1. That's pretty close to your size. Don't know if it will get bigger, but try this exercise anyway.
