I Am A Cameroonian Of Age 39years

Christianity is Paganism?

If I went in your room and looked through your closet and your drawers, and I got completely dressed in your clothes, would that make me you?

Christianity borrowed a lot of customs, holidays, sacraments, even words from paganism. But they are essentially different. What Paul borrowed was 'window dressing'. The basic ideas of Christianity and paganism are very different.

Pagans believed in many gods, not one. They didn't believe their gods demanded moral/ethical behavior from them, only 'cultic practices'. When they moved from one neighborhood to another, they found new local gods to worship.

Is joining the Canadian Armed Forces a good idea to start over at age 30?

Do you have a university degree? If so, you may be recruited as an officer. I joined at the age of 32. The average age in my platoon in BMOQ was around 30. I will never be an admiral, but I’m okay with that, and I’ve had, and could have, an excellent career. They want intelligent, experienced people in the officer corps. If you join as an NCM (non-commissioned member), then there are still plenty of great opportunities for you. I would advise against joining one of the combat arms trades (infantry, armoured, artillery, combat engineer) as an older member, only because the physical aspect is particularly demanding. But the CAF will always need support trades, such as resource management clerks, traffic techs, supply techs, stewards, maintainers, etc. Still, I’ve met Infantry officers who’ve joined in their 40s who’ve made it through combat school.Joining past the age of 25 will deny you a full pension, but you will still have enough time for a partial pension and the CAF will be glad to have you, if you’re motivated. You have nothing to lose if you join as a mature member. Don’t worry. You are not past your Best Before date. Just be prepared to salute people much younger than you.

I am a single Mom applying for Canada immigration I have 3 kids the older is 17 and younger is 9, I am 46 years old, the lawyer says I have no chance?

If you don't have Canadian family to sponsor you, it's most likely that you're talking about the Express Entry program.Express Entry is based on a points system. They give points for your age, so you get fewer points as a 46 year old than someone in their 20s. However, if you have education or job experience you can still have enough points to get PR. You can also apply as a provincial nominee or get a job offer to increase your points. So long as you have 450 points under Express Entry and the minimum amount of funds for someone with three dependents, it doesn't matter that you're a single mom.If you found the CIC website confusing, I wrote about how Express Entry worked for me.

Who do you think the most underrated and overrated cricketer ?

Under rated is Brad Hodge, over rated in MS Dhoni.

Edit - sundaroct131088 International cricket began in the year 1844, that means when Bradman started international cricket had been going for 84 years and by the end of his career it had been going for 104 years. Since Bradman's time as a cricketer ended, cricket has only progressed a further 63 years, so Bradman was involved well past international crickets infancy. Bradman played against England, India, South Africa and the West Indies. The only test playing nations that have started playing since Bradman retired that he did not play against at least one match is Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Of those any decent batsman could score 100+ against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in at least 5 out of 10 test matches. Sri Lanka is a decent side but again most decent batsman are easily capable of scoring decent scores of 100+ against them given the opportunity.

I'm 24, am I too late to be successful?

I am 27. I fucked up my teenage life. I did not do well. I was hot headed. At 21, working at a food factory on minimum wage, I thought, there must be more to life than this. So I went back to college and then to University. I always doubted myself all along, every day. I even had a very bad depression in my second year and I had to repeat the semester. This is when I panicked. I redid my whole 2 years of college and now a uni semester. This was no good for my self-esteem.Today, I am one month into my first graduate job as a mechanical engineer. I still doubt myself which is not good. But everyday goes, I am learning and becoming more aware of myself. Just last week, Mr R, an old technician, mocked me as I couldn't use a manual vernier calliper. I have always used digital before. This hurt me inside, but you learn from your mistakes and move forward. I have. I still doubt myself, but I am moving forward.

What are some mind-blowing facts about cricket?

"Saurav's greatest strength is his mind.He is hard working not only in the nets but also mentally. He bounces back."                                                                                -Sachin Tendulkar"When you see an Indian side with Ganguly in the line-up ,you know it is game on.You don't have to like or dislike him.You have to respect him."                                                                                  -Steve Waugh"Saurav's best quality is that he has the ability to remain unperturbed even when he faces severe criticism"                                                                               -Javagal SrinathIndia currently is doing an excellent job wining all the matches from the group stage even after failing to perform in the test series against the Aussies and then again in the tri-series with Australia and England earlier this year. This reminds me of 2003 world cup. After suffering a huge defeat against black caps(New Zealand) earlier 2003 (2-0 in tests and 5-2 in ODIs) ,  India swiftly made it's way into the finals.Unfortunately India lost the final but what were the key factors that lead this young brigade comprising of Harbhajan, Zaheer Khan,Yuvraj Singh , Mohammad Kaif hardly in their early twenties to achieve such a mammoth task.Well there were many factors like introducing Sachin-Sehwag as an opening pair, team huddles etc.My favorite above all was calling Srinath back from his retirement!!!Srinath announced his retirement after a test match against West Indies in June,2002.But after looking at inexperience Indian bowling had at that time and that too before the world cup in the coming year,Ganguly requested Srinath to join the squad for India's tour of New Zealand. As a result Srinath took 18 wickets in ODI series even though India suffered 5-2 loss. But his form didn't stop here, he ultimately went on to add further 16 wickets in this tally  in the world cup which  played a key role in India's road to finals. His key performance were 35/4 against Sri Lanka in super six and then giving off only 11 runs in 7 overs with an economy of 1.57 against Kenya in the semi finals. But at last this was not possible without the vision of SAURAV GANGULY.    4 OUT OF 5  EARLY WICKETS WERE TAKEN BY SRINATH ITSELF     (Atappattu , Mubarak , Arvinda de Silva & Jayasuriya)                               DADA(Saurav Ganguly) with his team :)
