I Am Becoming An Air Force Medical Tech. Is It Possible To Get My Rn Online After Training Is

What do I need to get on my ASVAB to be a medic in the Air Force?

I am going into the air force, I go to MEPS and retake my ASVAB and swear in in April. I want to be a medic/nurse an I know that I am not able to do that with the score I have right now. I graduated this past year and took the ASVAB when I was in highschool but I just took it to get out of class. I mean I tried but I didn't take it completely seriously. I would have tried my absolute best if I knew that I was going to join. I got a 52. It's good enough to get in because they raised it to 50.. And my recruiter told me I shouldn't retake it because there's that chance that I could not pass which would really suck but I really want to retake it because I want to be a medic/nurse more then anything.
I don't know what I got on the general part, I just know I got a 52 overall.
What score do you have to have to be a medic? And what medical jobs could I do in the air force with a 52 if I decide to not retake my ASVAB?

Please help me out. No negativity please.

While on active duty, completing a single of semester of classes takes a year typically.
- To become a doctor, you must first complete an undergraduate college degree in pre-medicine. After that you can apply for the Health Profession Scholarship Program (HPSP). The HPSP will pay for your medical school and has a internship program.

Is Air Force no longer reclassifying airmen who fail technical training?

My son is in the Air Force and has just started technical training at Sheppard AFB (Aerospace Medical Apprentice). He has told me that if he fails technical training he will be out of the air force. I had thought he would be reclassified if he fails tech school. Has this policy changed? Is he getting bad info (or feeding me bad info)?

Joining The Air Force As A Nurse Officer?

After weeks of deciding on what military branch to join, I finally decided to join the Air Force. I am in my junior year of college (going for my BSN) and I am on track to graduate May 2011. My gpa is about a 3.4-3.5. I have talked to a recruiter and there are still some things that I am unclear on. I know the Air Force is downsizing and my question is will I get into the Air Force or are my chances slim? Also as a nurse do I get to create a "dream sheet" of hospitals/bases I want to work at? Do we pay for own uniforms? Any additional info would be helpful. Thanks.

Earning a nursing degree while husband is in Air Force?

Hello.
My boyfriend of 3 years has recently been accepted into the Air Force. He will probably be leaving for basic training at the end of the summer, but we are not sure yet.
Anyway, I understand that I cannot be with him while he is in basic training, but afterwards, I have heard that I can go with him to his more specific job training for the Air Force. We would like to get married in the near future, and I would love to accompany him wherever this military life takes us....However, I am worried about my own education. I have graduated high school and have not yet went on to college. I would like to earn my bachelors degree in nursing and, later, receive my masters in psychiatric nursing. But, I am unsure how I will go about this if I will be possibly moving around a lot.
Is this possible? Are there any women out there who have gone/are going through something similar? What would be the best thing for me to do? Are there ways of earning many of my credits online, then finishing when I have finally settled?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

How can I become a PJ/CRO from enlisted?

Im on my way to tech school but I know that main goal for joining the airforce was to become a pj but I also want to become an officer. I don't have a degree at the time. I only have 16 credits. I know there is different programs to help further education and help on becoming an officer, but, I before I go to the airman and readiness center I wanted to get some info from here. Maybe someone knows something I wont hear there or someone else has done it.
Is there a specific degree for CRO?
What degree is mostly accepted?
Is a medical degree better?
I know CROs sont take the emt part of the pipeline, but I'm just wondering.
Thank you all for your time. Either way I'm gonna be one later. Can't wait to get to training.
By the way, my job is aerospace ground equipment.
