I Am Getting In Shape By Going Gym. But Not Getting Huge. Pls Help

Volleyball conditioning---scared!! please help!!!!!!!!?

okay so im going to start playing volleyball for the second year in a row. and im not the most fit person...last year, in the summer conditioning, we had to do sidelines which are either running,sprinting,jogging,skipping,etc.f... sideline to sideline forever. and then we had to do this thing, its called the indian run or shuttle run and that is when everyone gets in a single file line and we start jogging around the gym or wherever (we did it in the gym) and the person at the very back of the line sprints up to the front of the line while everyone is still jogging...and sometimes we had about 25 people in a 100degree gym....and also,i started my period after the season was done last year, and now im scared to do it when im on my period...
my questions are
would you be scared to go to conditioning like this, and what kind of thing should i wear if im on "it".(pad or tampon) and give me advice pleaseeee :]] thanks so much <333

Does being in shape really matter?

How much does being in shape matter to females?

Such as - low bf%, lean muscle mass, no ***** ****, tight body, no chubby face etc..

Granted being in shape may not be the key to picking up all girls but I'm wondering, how much does it matter? Is it worth it to run, lift and eat well? Spending countless hours in the gym and on the treadmill?

Will a girl who was uninterested because you were fat or obese completely rethink dating or getting with you just because you are in good shape? Of course personality matters and along with being shape comes confidence..but regardless of the subconscious effect (confidence) that being shape has on you...do females look at you more sexually than if you were fat/obese and completely rethink about who you are?

Skinny, but have a big butt and thighs, I need help!.?

You're shape sounds really nice. There are women out there who would kill to be smaller on top and have a small waist with fuller hips and a bubble butt! Consider yourself lucky. But as someone who knows, I also have an hour-glass figure, finding jeans that fit properly can be so difficult.

For one, if you always have butt crack that means you're wearing low rise jeans. That's not going to work for your figure. You need to leave the low rise alone and start wearing mid-rise, straight leg, or boot cut jeans. Make sure that all your jeans have stretch in them. That way they can fit up your thighs but will also fit to your slimmer waist.

I'm not sure where you live but Macys.com has some great jeans fitting the description I wrote above. Also the Gap is pretty good with their jeans too.

And if you're really unhappy with your body I suggest going to the gym too. Maybe toning up a bit will help. But no matter how small you get your shape will remain the same. So learning how to dress for your body type seems like the best approach.

I am 17 year old should go to the gym.?read description plz?

As long as you don't to insanely heavy squats then you'll be fine. Think about it, how could an exercise like bicep curls stop your growth? I started doing light endurance weights when I was almost 15 to build strength and I've grown 3 inches since then (2 years ago). I just stayed away from very heavy weights.

If you want muscular arms do bicep curls for biceps, triceps dips for triceps and hammer curls for forearms. I'd also recommend core exercises because having a six pack never hurts =P

Im skinny, but my stomach is huge!?

You know, different people store fat in different places of the body...if everyone was the same, it'd be BORING. (=

I have noticed in many of my friends that those who had tummies, grew really big chests. It is a common trend to have some fat in the stomach as well as in the chest. Most guys are attracted to those girls because of their appealing, curvy features (if within healthy weight range, of course).

One of my friends was exactly like you at 12. Now she's 18 and she does have a tummy, but she also has the perfect bust!! And she's skinny everywhere else. All my guy friends drool over her (; Haha I get jealous!

I, on the other hand, am more of a pear shape, with a big booty, thick thighs and skinny upper body (which, as you can tell, has its faults). Without a bust, I also feel "miss shaped."

You can do sit ups, crunches, and weighted hoola hoops to tone your abs and also burn some extra fat. Then, you will look really good, especially when you hit 16 when your chest grows. But don't worry too much about it, I'm sure you look beautiful how you are right now!

Some claim that eating dairy products like low sugar, nonfat yogurt and kefir slims the tummy area. You might like to do some research on that.

Oh and by the way, when I was 12, I had soooo much baby fat in my cheeks, stomach, and arms! I never really thought about it then, but you know what? I lost it all once I grew older!! So I'm sure you'll lose a lot of it too!! (=

Here's a side to side comparison.So this was me.And then this is almost after 6 months of working out, cardio and counting calories .Now to give you an idea into my life. I have been working out for few years now but the first pic is when I came back after staying in Delhi for an year for preparation and there I didn't do gym at all and I ate anything and everything just to fill me up.When I came home I knew I don't want to look this way and I wanted to see how far I can push myself.All I did was hit my weight 4 times a week. Im Heavy But Not Fat !?

I am about to give you the best answer.
Losing weight is 90% Diet and 10% Exercise, so eating less and eating healthier is a lot more important than running or being active; it starts and ends in your kitchen.

Calorie-wise, I say around 1300-1700 is fine, depends on how active you are weekly.
When it comes to diet….

Don’t eat:
Sugary (This means, pastries, candy, syrups & ice cream..)
Oily (Anything oily, anything with oil, even olive oil, oil is fat, very high in calories)
Buttery (Even fish can be high calorie if you cook it with butter)
Fried (Whether it is chicken, fries, onion rings…)
Pasta (One of the worst foods for losing weight, all carbs)
Rice (Unless brown rice, but rice is all carbs and it usually has some oil)
Bread (The less the better, but Sara Lee makes 45 calorie slices!)
Ground Beef (Fatty)
Fatty (Example: Peanuts or peanut butter, almonds,)
Dairy foods (Milk, cheese, nacho cheese, all that is fatty, high in calories..)
Eggs, even if you boil them, they are healthy but high in calories..

So now, I can tell you some dieting foods…

Popcorn, “air popped” or some 94% Fat Free are pretty low calories..
Baby carrots, munch on those babies all day…
Sugar free jello, satisfy your sweet craving…
Turkey & Roast beef (low fat brands like Oscar Meyer)
Tuna, filling, no carbs, all protein, super food.
&
Find Sara Lee’s “45 Calories & Delightful” bread, because we love our bread, and they make low calorie slices, most important thing in your diet, because it is the most filling ad satisfying food..

I was like, 230, now I am 158…
I am 19, Male and let me tell you that diet is sooooooo easy if you have the right foods around you..

Like today, I ate 9 sandwiches…
And a few bowls of popcorn and some other stuff.. and you know what? I will lose weight..

Because each of those sandwiches had..
2 slices of bread = 90 calories, about 30 calories of turkey, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions… about 20 calories…
So a 140 calories sandwich x 9 of them… that is only 1260 calories..
The popcorn was about 200… I ate a sandwich every hour.. and munched on carrots..
And hey, it really is easy you gotta get the foods..
And if you exercise, it simply speeds up the process.

Does exercising everyday make you last longer in sex?

In my experience, exercise doesnt really have any connection to do with how long you'll last during sex. The only thing it does allow is expand the whole experience as far as the positions you can do( laying, sitting and standing). Basically the cardio part of exercise makes a difference.

But, more importantly for a guy like you, you want to prevent premature ejaculation. That's independent of your fitness level. It has to do with your mental endurance as opposed to your physical.

Usually, masturbating more frequently before intercourse allows guys to last longer. Its like letting the hose relieve pressure before it builds up too much pressure. A mental trick is to not think about yourself during sex. THis is tough, but try and focus on pleasing her more than pleasing yourself. If you think about it its more difficult to please women in general.

In the end, both parties will be satisfied as long as you think for others and not be selfish. Sounds corny.....but works!
