I Am Going Into 6th Grade What Should I Wear Hairstyles I Have Sleeve Length Really Curly Hair/

How long does it take to grow shoulder length hair after completly shaving the head?

Hey there Monica. :-)You have a completely shaven head. Hair on average grows a centimeter a month. Depending on where you live and the temperature, it can affect growth. Eating a protein rich diet also helps build stronger hair and growth. The thickness of your hair is a factor as well. The thicker the hair, the slower the growth. That's because the scalp is easier to stimulate with wind and sunshine. You stated that you have a “completely shaved head”. By that I'm assuming you used clippers and didn't use a razor down to the skin. Your hair will grow rapidly at first. In just under a year, you should be able to grow your hair to be a short bob.You haven't said if your hair is curly or straight. If it's straight you should get to a nice chin length at your bang's and past collar length at the back. Get regular trims. Trims help keep the new hair healthy and shaped as it grows in.It's important to get your hair shaped as it comes in so you don't get frustrated with it and want to cut it off again. Within a month of shaving hair off, you should be able to do a little forward directed pixie using pomade. Personally, I love really short hair on women. I find it shows off your facial features more dramatically. Confident. Play with it as it comes in so you have a style. You don't want to look like you are trying to grow your hair in.Would love to see what you come up with at each stage of growth. XO

How long does it normally take for hair to grow back after getting it shaved?

If you've shaved your head and are wondering how to grow it then it's very easy. Bath daily and apply coconut oil and expose it to sun and you'll get your head black or brown in a month. I've shaved my head today and am feeling confident . I've to appear for exams in February so I've shaved it for confidence and by February my hair will grow back. When my hair will catch up the level of Eminem's hair I'll start managing it and I won't let it grow further and will cut it and try to retain it's size as long as Eminem's hair's. Chill ….I wanna get haircut like this. It looks fantastic on Eminem and I'm striving for this. It seems like he shaves his head regularly or he has had a hair transplant.

Do Indian women sport long hair just because of the social pressure? How difficult is it for them sport short hairstyles or hairstyles of their choice?

Thank you for the A2A.Kidding, nobody asked me.I sported short hair till 6th Grade, because it was easier to maintain for a very lazy kid like me. I looked like a boy, and with all my guy dresses (I din't have frocks, legend has it that I hated frocks), no wonder the neighbours thought I was a boy, for a couple of years. My granny and the other older folks detested it. But my mom was firm, because she knew I couldn't maintain it, and since there were many children, schools are the best breeding ground for lice, etc. So Was there pressure?Yes.Family, friends everyone teased me. Labelled me as a boy, with my brave and no-fuck-giving attitude. Then I grew up, and when I was sure I could maintain it, I started growing my hair. I sport long hair, because I like to sport that style. With long hair, I can try lots of hairstyles.[Kidding, I have long hair because I want to be Rapunzel]I look better with long hair.I am very restless and get bored always, fidgeting with my hair is a good time pass.I personally like long hair, though it is a slight pain to look after , it is a beauty to look at.As such, I don't see any pressure in various hairstyles, but boy-cut is still frowned upon. I have a friend, she sports boy cut, and is a little tom boyish in nature, so much that people still mistake her for a boy. So much that she was allotted room in the boy's hostel. People still comment on her when she walks past. Scornful looks and murmurs everywhere. Every man has a different choice. But the men I have met, majority of them like long hair. Also, guys do give a lot of importance to the hair, I feel, because among the compliments I have received, hair does have a big share. So to summarize,There is freedom to choose hairstyles, but boy-cut, for a woman? Nooooooo. Because, boy cut=boy, remember.Hair is so much attached to femininity that the lack of the former somehow implies the lack of the latter, which is annoying.Come on, we don't call hot men sporting 'muns' and long hair gay.Men might or might not like long hair, it is all personal choice. And I would say it would be silly to consider men when deciding your hairstyle. Because, he is not the one who has to oil it weekly, shampoo it bi-weekly, comb it daily and protect it every time from dandruff, lice, dirt, pollution.

I want to cut my hair short, but everyone tells me I'll regret it?

I'm 14 and I've always had long hair, like maybe an inch or so below my bra strap. I really want to cut it short kind of like a pixie cut, but I'm scared it'll look bad because my mom and sister keep telling me that'll I'll regret it, but it'll grow back if I don't like it?! Should I cut it or not?

Poll: Do you look different then you did 5 years ago?

Nope and I'm 18,

I look 16

Will my normal hair grow back after the perm completely grows out?

So I permed my hair back in 5th grade, I'm in 9th now. I'm mixed so my hair is naturally curly. It might have not been a perm, a relaxer I think. The brand was Rusk & it was called 'Anti Curl'. The first time I had it done, it didn't really change anything. So I got it done again and that's when it changed. When it was wet it was really straight, but I was upset when I found out it dried very frizzy. In 6th grade I made a bad decision & cut my hair, I was bored with it being long I guess. But it's a little longer now then it was when I first cut it. It really should be longer than before I even cut it, but since my hair is just frizzy now, I have to straighten my hair everyday because I'm not going out looking like I just stuck my finger in the socket. So basically all of the gorwing hair is breaking off which is why it isn't getting longer. But I know it's been growing a bit because now when my hair is wet, it's curly, but it dries frizzy. The roots and the very bottom dry pretty curly, but the top doesn't. Also might be because I straighten it everyday. Even when my hair was curly, my bangs kinda looked straighter because I straightened them everyday. Everybody keeps telling me I need to stop straightening my hair everyday, I'm really trying. But all I want is my curly hair back!! That's all I want!!! The chemicals can't do anything to the hair that hasn't grown in yet, so I just wanna know, will my normal hair come back if I take a very long break from straightening it? I'm pretty sure it will, because it just makes sense, but just to be sure ... will it? That's all I've been thinking about lately, and I'm really upset, I just want my hair back :( I'm done with relaxers and all of that. But is there anyway it will grow back? my new growth that is? any hope? and if so , how long do you think it will take. Please, anyone who sees this, help me :(

I am a 21 year-old male but too short (5' 4"). I am constantly referred to as the kid and I feel that I am never really taken seriously. Girls don't like me. Can I do anything to improve my height?

There was a short guy who merely conquered the whole europe, his name is Napolen. Have you seen the HBO product "the game of throne". There is a role named Tyrion. In real world, people aren't judge you by your common characters. People judge you by your special characters.
