What type of schooling do you need to become a Marine Biologist?

I am really really really interested in Marine Biology and was curious what schooling you need to go through to become one. What courses should you take in high school? What are some good colleges to go to to become a Marine Biologist? If you could give me links to a website that tells about Marine Biology that would be great :)

How to become sergeant major of the army?

I'm a sophomore in college and I plan on enlisting as a specialist when I graduate. Pleasee don't waste your time trying to compell me with that ROTC/OCS nonsense. I don't want to be an officer. I want to have an enlisted career in the Army. Bottom line. But I do want an education before I start any career. I also would really like to become the sergeant major of the United States Army, and at the very least, be a high ranking segreant by the time I retire.
How could I increase my chances? Would I have to get an advanced degree as well? Would my best option be enlisting as infantry? Thats what I'm leaning towards.
I know its a very big goal, but I am motivated. Also I was planning on joining the reserves for my next three years of college, then going active duty after I graduate.
Any advice would be great.
Also a Merry Christmas to you and our troops overseas.

What options are available for a student who's already a BCom graduate but wants to become a chef?

I'm a Commerce graduate and I want to be a Chef too. At the very least I want to make my passion - cooking into a source of income. Right now I'm working at a big financial services firm in Mumbai as an Analyst since the past 3 years and I intend to continue for some time.I learn new techniques and recipes and cook at least 3 meals in a week - mostly weekends. My cousins and friends are the usual guinea pigs. I try and incorporate the techniques, tips and hacks I keep learning into what I cook. I always try and give my own twist to the recipes - sometimes with disastrous results. My only source for learning the new techniques and tips and recipes is the internet. There are a lot - I mean a LOT - of YouTube channels which have innumerable videos showing you new recipes from different cuisines.I read a lot of food blogs - they sometimes have invaluable tips and tricks in the text.I've picked up quite a few techniques from TV. Just switch on the TV and there is always one or the other food show going on - ALWAYS.(I also recently discovered Stella Culinary (Cook and Eat Like A Star) which teaches you lots of techniques through videos and podcasts)My goal is that in a couple of years I want to be a solid good cook and then start up a place serving my kinda food with my kinda ambience. I am also very interested in what Shuchi Naidoo is doing in NYC (About) and want to emulate something similar here. Now, you could go this way or you could go the culinary school way. Here in India, we don't have a lot of options when it comes to that. You can enroll in one of the Hotel Management courses, but those are 3 year courses and are mighty costly. After these courses, most student that I know were hired by 5-star hotels in positions like front desk manager, housekeeper, etc. Also, I'm guessing after a 3 year BCom you wouldn't want to spend the time and money on a HM course. If you do find a good course which focuses on Culinary Arts, by all means do that course - assuming you want to spend the time and money on it of course.

How do students manage to work full time and attend school full time?

I tried to once, ended up dropping a class (also had intentions of not coming back)
During that annoyingly frustrating semester I happened to attend classes on the days I did not work and took 4 classes, each back to back

The only "off" day I had was Sunday, which was a lost cause since had to spend most of the time cleaning, laundry and other things. I did not have internet access at home

By the time the 3rd or 4th week rolled around, I pulled all nighters to work on a college paper, I had yawning fits (sorry if contagious) and therefore I dropped English 101

So what do you do? Is it because work and school are relatively close by?
How do you find time to study, to write papers
Do you take classes online? Do you have computer with internet access at home?
Do you have other people help you out with the day to day things (cause I certainly don't and I have to do everything on the bus)
How do you find time to eat, bathe and sleep (god, I hope you keep clean, bad smell is offensive) and not going to sleep can put you in a state of well, drowsiness

Hey, if you tried this and couldn't manage... cut hours at work or dropped a class, please let me know. I just happen to think that this is close to impossible

(by the way, though I still work full time, I only attend school part time. Oh, and I take summers off from school)
