How do I send and receive emails with my Gmail account?

Thanks for the A2A!Go to your admin console. Here is how to: click on the gear icon in the upper right hand-side corner of your admin mailbox> Click on “manage this domain”> click on “support”> Click on “generate new pin” and then call the local number listed there.I am quite certain that you need to update the MX records but they will walk you through the whole process. Google Apps for work never has waiting time on the line and its 24/7.

I received an email from my service provider about a file I illegally downloaded using Torrent. Am I in trouble?

I can’t say you’re not in trouble, but it’s very unlikely anything will come of it. Copyright infringement is a civil offense, not a criminal, so your download was not “illegal” and the police won’t be knocking on your door. If your ISP wrote to you, it’s almost certain that they didn’t release your identity to the complainer. The copyright holder could, in theory, discover your name and address with a subpoena and file a civil suit against you, but that costs money and trouble so they won’t for one or two files, and if you’re in the US on a tourist visa you will probably have left before it goes anywhere. If you keep doing it, maybe your ISP will be prodded into taking some action, but you’re their customer, and they don’t give a rat’s ass whose files you download so long as you pay their monthly fee. What you should do is set your torrent client to encrypt all packets in and out. That stops anyone intercepting a packet from finding out what’s in it, although they can identify your IP address from the torrent tracker. So, you should invest in a VPN (Virtual Private Network) account, which hides your real IP address and allows you to appear more or less anywhere in the world. You send and receive to the VPN server over an encrypted link, and the VPN server opens a temporary anonymous IP address at a remote location to which all the traffic is directed. There are lots of other uses for a confidential, identity hiding IP address besides torrenting. Governments hate them. One thing to watch out for is a letter purporting to come from a copyright holder with an offer to “settle” - you pay them some money and they don’t proceed. Ignore such letters - neither reply nor acknowledge. The senders usually have no standing, and even if they do, they aren’t interested in going to court. Their income comes from conning gullible folk who meekly pay up, usually because the files in question were porn and they want to avoid embarrassment.

Delay in receiving yahoo mail?

The only answer I can give you "sst" is to try the BASIC version which is quite fast. Once you've gotten in it, though, you'd better place it in your «favorites». This way you can select either the full featured version or the Basic if the former won't send you the mails right away. If you do not know the procedure to enter BASIC, do this then :
>go to gear top right→ select settings→select Viewing email→go down to the right and place the dot in the small box next to the word BASIC→go all the way down to the left and click SAVE. That's all.
Now......I suggest you also place the regular version in the «favorites». Why? Because this way you can call for both versions and have them at the very top and switch from one to the other as you wish. This is what I do every time I go into Yahoo mail. Good luck!

We're sorry, but there appears to be a problem loading the message?

Here are some new details that may be relevant - this problem does not occur when using my cell phone (iphone using at&t). It also goes away when I use the classic version of Yahoo Mail. At the same time this problem started I also found a problem using Entourage and Hotmail. I'm unable to send/receive Hotmails through Entourage. I don't get an error other than it times out with no success. Finally, I've logged into my mail through a computer connected to the internet through a different ISP and the problem does not occur. What could have changed within my current ISP (verizon) that could have caused this?

My incoming emails will not load?

I too, am having this same problem. I even sent a message to customer service, they emailed me but I can't view it because I get that blasted "message" saying it is taking an unusual amount of time to load, please try again. This is frustrating, to say the least.

Log into email. Taking longer to load than usual.?

Whenever I try to log into my Yahoo email account I receive a message that states:
"Mail appears to be taking longer to load than usual. This could be a temporary glitch. Try refreshing your page. Or for this session only, click here to see if Mail Classic loads faster." I've been getting this message for 2 weeks now. This only happens when I am on my desktop that has windows vista it does NOT happen on my laptop.

Why is Yahoo mail taking so long to load?

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Java script to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. If all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?script=no click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.
