I Am Having The Same Problem As The Last Question My File Will Not Attach To My Email. Help.

Email won't attach files?

This is a common problem for the last 2 weeks. Not everyone is affected at the same time. Yahoo has set up a page (Known Issues) to try to figure out what is causing it. We are searching for workarounds. None of the troubleshooting tips is working. Here are things that worked (but not for everyone).

If you can get back to Classic Mail, do it (Yahoo is making that hard to do).

Try Chrome browser until Yahoo gets the problem fixed.

If you are using Internet Explorer, open a new window. Tools>Compatibility View Settings>Display All Websites In Compatibility View (check this). A Yahoo Staff had a different solution. They said to "Turn off Compatibility Mode".

To load an attachment, drag and drop instead of using the Paperclip icon.

To open an attachment, double click on it.

Which is correct: please find the attached file or please find the information?

Although “Please find attached file / attachment” (in short, ‘PFA’) is pretty commonplace, I am personally against this usage. You normally ask someone to “find” something which is not readily available. e.g. find a key or wallet that was misplaced / find a place to sit (in a restaurant or park etc.) / find solution to a problem and so on. When you are referring to a file that you have attached (to an e-mail), the attachment is readily available to the recipient - no need of “finding” it. “Please refer the attachment / attached file” should be enough.

Which is correct: please find the attached file or please find attached the file?

PLEASE FIND means you lost it!Professionals are trained not to use this expression. We have many options to replace those needlessly wordy phrases: Here is . . .  Enclosed are . . .  Attached is . . .  We have enclosed . . .  I have attached . . .  The attached proposal includes . . .  The enclosed document shows . . .  Please review the attached diagram . . .  The attached spreadsheet covers . . .  Please use the enclosed envelope to . . .  - See more at:"Enclosed Please Find" Means You Lost It

KIMAIL-6333941: Inability or difficulty in attaching and uploading files in Yahoo! Mail?

I've tried attaching files in Internet Explorer, Google Chrome & Mozilla & none will attach the files. When you first "made" us upgrade, I was able to attach pics, but last Friday (6-21), it all of a sudden wouldn't attach anything, not even 1 picture. I've tried all the suggestions & nothing has worked. I don't know why "we" have to try ALL these different things. This is a YAHOO problem with their new upgrade that we were forced to upgrade to.

Why in the WORLD would you launch a new upgrade without testing it enough to work out any & all bugs before making us upgrade?

From what I'm reading, most everyone was perfectly happy with the classic view Yahoo, why would you force us to change to something that wasn't broken?

Processing pictures is what I do for a LIVING & not being able to attach files to my email is quite FRUSTRATING.

I had to go open a gmail account just to get files to attach to the email.

You should at LEAST give us the option to go back to Classic View while you work out all these kinks that your new upgrade has caused!

I use Kaspersky Security, Firewall.

Why would it originally allow me to attach files when we first had to upgrade & then all of a sudden last Friday no longer attach files? That makes absolutely no sense at all to me, so that tells me it is not what browser or anything else like that, it is something you did on Yahoo's end since the upgrade.

I also have to sign in every time that I open a new browser, bothersome!

Here is the info that you wanted copied from your link:

Why does my computer freeze when I attach a file in Yahoo Mail?

Thank you for the answers but I have wasted a better part of the day trying to figure this out to no avail.
I've deleted my browsing history, cookies, temp files.
Fearing that this a virus I ran a full system scan with Norton, Ad-aware, SpyBot, Defender, and Trendmicro. Besides a few cookies it did not turn anything up. I thoroughly checked my system for any mysterious files but that came up short as well. After all of that I still wasn't able to attach files.

I run Vista x64 with 8gb of RAM, my virtual memory looks OK to me and I've never had any errors. If there is anything I should check or a setting I can change please let me know.

Using another computer I was able to attach and send the same file(s). It seems text based files attach easily while any image heavy file locks up my computer.

I was able to attach these files using GMail. Quite a shame if this merger is screwing with email, somehow this doesnt make sense though.

I don't enjoy living in fear of my email.

I am having trouble with opening emails (message says loading email please wait?

I have the exact same problems, beginning last week with Yahoo not attaching my files and not letting me open my mail.

There is something going on here. I am looking for other mail services.
