I Am Looking For An Inexpensive Computer Can Someone Recommend One That May Render Good Service

SUPER PC: Multi-Monitor Computer... Recommended for Multi-Screen Day Trading?

Multiple Monitor Computers are the best thing ever! Call me a nerd, or whatever. but my life wouldn't be the same without Multiscreens! I bought a SUPER PC computer, way back in the day, when they were selling on Ebay. I also bought a new Superpc, from Multi-Monitors.com, last year. My old one is still fine, but now I have two computers, with a total of 8 LCD Monitors! I run an Ebay business, Trading Business, and I also run several successful websites. Their computers have allowed me to really make some magic, in the digital world. Take a look at the video, below. That will really give you the impact of why Multiple Monitor Computers are so important, to the future of computers. So yeah, give them a shot. Their warranty and customer service are great. I've owned two! I don't know what I'd do without mine. I recently got a Quadcore CPU, and 4 Monitors, and it was still pretty cheap. Especially when you compare it to the other companies that sell Multi-Monitor Computers and Products. It's running great, and my friends flip out when they see it! Ha! Welcome to real multi-tasking!

I am looking for an inexpensive computer can someone recommend one that may render good service?

what is your main use of a computer is a question that you should ask from yourself.
is it for 3D works(working with maya,zbrush,3d max and... ) ?
is it for programming with different languages ?
is it for hardcore gaming ?
or its just for a daily use and or for surfing web pages and nothing special ?

in most of the times a PC for hardcore gaming is also ideal for other purposes ( most of the times I say again )
how ever if you want to save up in money and you do not want to buy a pc for gaming there are a lot of options you may chose.

if you are going for a good 3d working you may want to have Nvidia GeForce 6 series or higher
for an ideal RAM 4 GB is good but for a better result you may want to have more than just 4 GBs.
for CPU I recommend Intel core i7 but a core i5 will also do the trick.
a HDD is optional so its your choice.

about operating systems ( from a personal experience ) I highly recommend to use a Windows 7 unless that you are buying a laptop and it designed for windows 8.

for programming however a powerful VGA ( graphic card ) is not needed and you can use a normal one.

I also recommend that you go for a PC unless you are really moving around and by moving around I dont mean moving around your house, if you have to go out , to work, or other places and you need your computer then you should buy a laptop.

I hope I was useful.

Can anyone recommend a good tablet for kids?

I bought the Meep! for my daughter, opened it up Christmas Day, couldn't connect to their servers to change any of the parental controls so apart from the angry birds game (and a few others pre-installed) she was pretty disinterested, i decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, after 4-5 days they had fixed most of their server problems and I continued to install apps from google play and bought a memory card so I could put some music and videos on there for her! Still not 100% working it was a lot more usable for her so I finally handed it over and let her play, within a few hours the power button broke and will no longer turn on at all! And I'm not the only one this has happened to (as detailed on their Facebook page).

Whilst it was working here were a few of the other bad points I noted:

Although the parent suggested website list was a good idea, the lack of flash renders most kids sites useless (I know this will change as more sites switch to HTML 5) flash can be installed but the instructions are written by another user posted on the Meep! Facebook page (not Meep!'s website) and its quite a tiresome process

The user interface is not the most intuitive; my daughter is used to stealing mine and the wife's iPhone's or grandparents iPads so the scroll wheel icons on the left is a lot let user friendly than a screen full of icons

Anyway this is only my own experience and I do feel a little disappointed with the gadget as I thought it would be the answer to my always missing iPhone!

I'm now at an impasse myself as what to replace it with because the Nabi 2 which was my other (more expensive) choice has apparently had many similar issues

All these points can be seen on both the Meep! And the Nabi Facebook page:

Hope this helps and if anyone has had a good tablet experience I'd welcome some advice

Can I host my own website with my own computer? How would I go about doing that?

Yes, you can host a website on your computer. But there are a few important things I should point out:Linux is not the only OS you can use to host a website (although it is the most popular). Any computer (Windows, Mac, or Linux) can host a website. All you need is code compatible with that operating system, and to expose the port your website is onYou'll need an always-on computer. This means your laptop (and probably desktop) won't be good enough. You can find an old, cheap computer, put it in the closet, and keep it on at all times to host your siteFor users outside of your network to reach it, you need to forward port 80 on your router to the web server. This usually isn't recommended for home networks, so make sure you know what you're doingThis may violate your ISP's terms of service. If you start to get notable traffic to the site, your ISP may drop you or take legal action. Non-business internet service almost always disallows thisYou'll need to use a dynamic IP service. The IP address assigned to your home changes periodically, which is done by the ISP to protect you (for the most part). Dynamic IP addressing is less of a security risk (harder to track you, harder to attack a user, etc). To assign a URL to your IP, there are services out there that track your IP and dynamically update DNS, like DynDNSYou'll get attacked constantly. Now, these "attacks" aren't usually very difficult to defend against since they're just scripts looking for weak servers. If you enable SSH on port 22 you'll see hundreds of attempts to log in from servers in China. So make sure you have a basic understanding of firewalls and security. It sounds like you really don't want to spend the money to host a site, but you'll take far more time setting up the server, networking, dynamic DNS, etc. Or you could just pay a couple dollars a month for someone else to do that for you.I used to host a few servers at home, and it was a great learning experience, but not worth the time. AWS, Bluehost, etc are worth the money.Hope this helps!
