I Am Looking For Information On Alligator Lake Volcano. I Am Not Finding A Lot Of Information On

Anything you toss into the volcano is going to stay on the surface, because it’s less dense than the lava. Not to be gross, but when Gollum (from the Lord of the Rings) fell in, he would not have sunk below the surface. He would have bobbed to the top and burst into flames.That bursting-into-flames part is probably what you were hoping to see if you decided to throw your trash into a volcano, but seriously, there are easier ways to get your pyrotechnic fix. Most lava lakes are hard to reach, and as someone else pointed out in this thread, some are in places considered sacred to nearby residents. Is it okay for people to throw trash in your church? I’m guessing it’s not.Throwing trash into a volcano is childish, frankly. Or if you were considering it as a large-scale method of trash disposal, it’s impractical. I won’t quote the number of people who have been killed or injured trying to pull stunts in dangerous, wild places (mostly because I don’t know), but I’m guessing that the harder it is to reach the place you want to throw your trash into, and the more poisonous gas you are exposed to on the way, the more likely it is the fun is going to wear off before you accomplish your goal.So if they don’t let you throw trash into the volcano, thank them for saving you the hassle.

Not even one good solid objective, observable, rational, reasonable, repeatable, testable experiment supporting the existence of cold fusion. Yet hundreds of known charlatans have tried to insist they have made it work, all of them without any evidence. These con men have convinced people to give away money to them. These people either disappear into the night, cannot prove their claims to be real, or have been proven to be frauds. The money is lost and we still cannot prove cold fusion exists.Given that cold fusion has never been proven mathematically, or experimentally would you invest your money in it? Perhaps you meant “when it’s going to erupt?” as anybody in North America (and probably the world) will be able to see, hear or watch it occur on seismographs as it it is occurring. Also two separate questions:What would happen if it (the Yellowstone Caldera) erupted? - More likely than not, thousands of people will be killed in the first few hours and tens of millions more in the days,weeks and months following the eruption. The ash would likely reduce the amount of sunlight reaching the Earth’s surface worldwide and this could continue for months, years or decades.Would it just cause a lot of ash? - No, not just “a lot of ash." The last eruption deposited enough ash as far east as Chicago to raise the local terrain 6-8 feet in height. There would likely be a great deal of gases released that would kill everything downwind for many miles. ANd it’s probable that lava would be released which would flow for weeks or months and bury the existing park underneath it.If the Yellowstone Caldera erupted it could conceivably be an extinction level  event for mankind.
