Yahoo won't do anything. This site went down hill when they replaced the green format with the purple. The old format had more features and Yahoo paid more attention to their site.
I'm so weird! How can I just talk to people without awkwardness?
Okay so I've known this one girl (im a girl too) for 2 years and we're finally becoming friends. She;s really cool, perfect, popular, nice, (I wish I looked like her she soo gorgeous but anyways!) and she was talking to me a lot this week and trying to start conversations with me. And stupid me! Instead of responding like a normal person and just having an easy conversation, I get really awkward and nervous, I make too much eye contact, mumble/stutter, talk like a little kid (lack of confidence). I'm like this around everyone! Even my mom. I have really low social confidence...because I simply don't socialize enough. After we moved I no long have friends and I just spend all my time alone on my laptop. So now im used to being alone and im really socially awkward now. Sometimes she would say something and I would "pretend" like I didnt hear (because i got nervous and didn't know how to respond back...) what she said and then its just weird.. And while we were trying to have a conversation I noticed other people looking at me weirdly like this (o_o)...like they can tell how awkward/nervous i get around people...im such a loser. i was just on her facebook page and i see her pic with her friends and im so jealous....like that could be me! but im so stupid, i can;t even have a normal conversation. i can't even make ONE friend. I CAN't just be comfortable around people.... how can i just be confident, outgoing, and comfortable around people? i know i should practice socializing but it's not like i can just walk outside and start talking to people...this is so unnecessarily ridiculous =///

Wow, don't fall for that stuff. Ever. All of these fan pages do the same thing, TAKE YOU TO VIRUS-FILLED SURVEY SITES. Do not fall for it. In the little mermaid, the priest had an "erection" (it looked like it anyway) when marrying Prince Eric and Ursula. In the Lion King, at one point we can see stars, and the stars spell out "SEX" in the sky. In the Aladdin, when Aladdin whispers to the Princess, if you listen really close, it says "Good Teenagers take their clothes off." How to be ok with being known as the quiet kid?
If you want people to notice you: At school don't be so shy that people don't notice you, but don't be annoying and loud - find a middle ground. Think about what effect you want to have on them (chilled, happy, rebellious etc.) and try to show that in your look. If you just want people to acknowledge you, just half-smile and say hi when you see them - start small :) Show that you're friendly. Wear clothes and do your hair in styles you like; listen to an mp3 player/iPod. People will compliment you on how you look and ask what you're listening to. Stand up for what you believe in. On Facebook put witty status updates people will like than generic stuff ("___ is bored"). Upload photos of you and your friends and "Like" bands/films/books and so on that you like, people will see that you're an interesting person :) If you want to stay the quiet kid: It's not bad to be the quiet kid; you have a small group of good friends and that's all you need :) Teachers will probably take a shine to you because you're not disruptive in lessons and let you get away with things. Be glad you're not fake like a lot of the less quiet ones. Good luck :)
