I want to start a business, but I have no idea what field or what type of business it would be. How can I figure out what to pursue?

Unless we are the lucky ones with a crystal-clear calling, we are pulled in so many different directions, priorities, seductive trends.I think, ideally, you do some serious vivid vision mapping that leads to the overlapping core of four concentric circles. The circles answer to four different questions:What do you love?What is it that your community or the world needs?What might others pay for?What are you good at?Essentially, you explore your passion, your mission, your vocation, and your profession. The concept of ikigai may help you in this quest (See the image attached).But you also must know your core values: What qualities in life can you not live without. What are the strengths that you can bring to your entrepreneurship. What might be your weaknesses (areas to develop)? What are you willing to say no to once you commit to a certain choice of business?Running a business asks a lot from you and it can be wonderfully rewarding. In the United States, close to 66% of small businesses will survive their first 2 years, which sounds great, but it also leaves one out of three stranded. So it is also important to realize that your ultimate happiness cannot and must not depend on the success of your business.Figuring out what your business is about requires deep inner work. You could start with a test like the MBTI. But that would only be a start. And the finance issue can come later, much later. Whether you then go for entrepreneurship or not, delve into your exploration anyways, since you learn so much about yourself and what is really important to you in life.Enjoy the process! Sophia

You need to spend some time on the internet researching breeds and raising a puppy. Sounds like you are totally clueless on pet ownership. Why in such a hurry? Do your research and make a wise decision or the poor puppy will end up in the humane society along with all the others who were a "spur of the moment" choice.

I will live no matter how much you hurt me.The biggest truth in life is death and this will happen whether you like it or not. So if something is going to happen, let it happen naturally why do you bother, how? But no, you might not do this. Why would you do an easy thing which should happen on its own? What is so good about it? We are bound to do a different thing and committing suicide is one of them because we are humans and if we don’t do it this way we will be called as cowards. Why do girls get the wrong idea about me, what am I doing wrong (girls, please help)?
I am a really quiet kid, 16 y/o in highschool. Like I said I am quiet but laid back and not awkward. I am always really nice to girls even when I flirt with them its like im barely making fun of them. I tend to be way better at talking be via text/IM and NOT face to face, that is my only weakness. However my biggest problems is with girls reading me wrong. There is ALWAYS a girl that likes me that I find very unattractive/annoying or I just dont want to get involved with them and I cant get them to get off of me. Then there are the girls I tend to think of as my friends and some of them are pretty hot but I dont want to start anything w/ them but they always act back at me flirting. Next are the girls I like and want a chance at and I talk to them often and flirt with them and then when we are at school or lunch she wont even attempt to talk to me unless I bring something up to her.....Uhh what the hell is wrong with me, I am not ugly-I would consider myself decent, and there are always girls complaining about their ex's who they just went out w/ because they thought they were hot, I am a really nice guy and people cant see that, What am I doing wrong?

Numb: The song's about not living up to someones expectations, dealing with the pressures of it. I think that the person has become Numb from trying so hard to be something that they are not. You could write a story about a teenager who is dealing with pressures from their parents and it's driving them into depression. The words of their parents attack them and drive them into harmful actions, they just want to please everyone but they physically can't. Or it could be about trying to find out who you are and not wanting to be what someone else wants you to be, the lack of control is ones life. I guess from the song meaning it would be a deep, dark story. Good luck Plus, that is really awesome homework, we never get hw about songs!
