Group event reminders not working?
I have set up several group events on our calendar and the email reminders are not going out. I have tried to recreate the reminders and still no emails are being sent. Please help.
My Yahoo mail account is not receiving incoming emails.?

Calendar reminders not working!?
Everyone seems to be having a problem with Calendar lately. Reminders not working. Try this to reinforce them. 1. Click on the Calendar Tab at the top of your address book. 2. Click on the "Options" link in the upper right. 3. Click on "Reminders." 4. Ensure that all boxes are still set as you entered them originally, then click "Save" again. Note: Found this in a previous answer. Please check to ensure that the email address "reminders@reply.yahoo.com" is not listed under the blocked addresses section of your Yahoo Mail Account. Calendar reminders come from that address. Problem is, I checked my blocked addresses list and it wasn't in there, but after I did the steps mentioned above, they started working again. ???
Is the mail man going to deliver on the 4th of july?
the place i bought my item from has this as the shipping notes... 3. We only use EMS/UPS/DHL/TNT International Express unless otherwise requested by bidders the word "express" is leading me to think i might see my package tomorrow. thanks for the help
Why are the email delivery of posts to my Yahoo Group delayed?

But, unless the message is held up in the SPAM Pending folder and require an Owner/Moderator approval - the delay is not really something that is a problem. My groups pass Job Leads. We do not use the group to "chat," therefore, any delay is not an issue. Althought, I occasionally monitor my messages sent to the group and is how I have seen the delays in the past. I know I am not helping you. Sorry! I have known groups that have changed to Google groups - I do not like Google groups. Don't like the look (limited to personalize the group page). I don't like the digest (not as easy to use as Yahoo!). I would never change over - I like my group the way it is. That's my $.02!
I have been hired by Infosys at a college campus placement, but haven't received the offer letter yet. When can I expect it?
Typically Offer letters are rolled out immediately after June,July every year.Your Date Of Joining(DOJ) will be Anywhere between 1-15 months after you complete your graduation(June,July).As per the official procedure. Infosys hires thousands of people during campus placements. All these people are then given RANDOM dates of joining(DOJ) for whole next year. Now this So Called Random DOJ is not really random allotment. Infosys has their complex algorithm based on the factors unknown to me.(My guess will be How reputed college are you from(Reputation is independent of quality of education :P I have seen people from better colleges getting delayed DOJ) (How less talented you are :P Infosys loves to train people who are from non CS background :P No preference for you if you are an CS engg :P Welcome to InformationTechnology Industry :D )From company's perspective, They will need to have CONTINUOUS IN FLOW of NEW FRESHERS joining in every 10 - 15 days.Typically Infosys Mysore Campus Welcomes 500-800 New Joinees every 7 or 15 days.As an example Lets say you pass out from Engineering on 1 july 2015. In the Best case scenario Your DOJ may be in month of july ,August.In the worst case if you are really unlucky,DOJ may be in July 2016 or August or Sept 2016.For the BATCH of BTECH(JUNE2012), The Last batch of people joining Infosys joined on 19 Aug 2013,(Roughly 1 SEPT).So here's my advice for people placed in Infosys,TCS,Cognizant,Accenture(Service Based Industries) ->Talk to your seniors and get an idea about how late your joining will be. How do I reactivate the owner acct for my group?
I do have access to the owner acct (it was set up by someone else who made the owner a separate acct and when they left the group they gave me the login info), but yahoo says that due to lack of use (last time I accessed the owner acct is probably more than a year ago) the acct is being deactivated. But some basics about our group need to be updated. It seems to me that the suggested help doc is not for this situation. Thanks for any further suggestions as to how to proceed.
How many days will it take Capgemini to send an offer letter after the HR discussion or clearing the first phase of the interview? Is there any premedical examination before the offer letter as well?
I recently took capgemini for Senior Consultant position feb2019. As usual like any other service oriented company they told us to share the documents after discussing the salary details.The surprise part is we dint fix the salary and they themselves fixed it and said we will send for approval to higher management.We waited for 1 week no response again made a followup again in the 2nd week no response.3rd week we called the director who took the interview and to my surprise he asked me to drop an email so that he can follow up.All of them are useless as they reside in same place and took to their advantage.If they want to reject a person they could have done at 1st hand instead of that alluring candidates into expectation and turned the table upside down.Even after all these dramas we made a followup on the 4th week and to our surprise the HR tagged me to someother job within capgemini which are irrelevant ot my role and had blocked the number.She himself called us for providing offer letter and now she himself blocked us in her contact list.Its not only me even another candidate from my current company dint get the offer even after submitting documents.Its evident they think they are smart and can play around just by wasting time of others.I request each and every one of you to think twice before joining and taking up interview with this company.This company also has a history of 0% hike for the FYI 2018.Listen,act and then proceed with your instincts.Let me provide you the HR contact details - Ashwini Andhale.Capgemini director - Manish Haria.Please be careful and be wise.

When is National Men's History Month?
I think you guys should choose October. January's too close to Christmas...kinda space out the gift-receiving. April's weather isn't conducive to any outdoor celebrations, which I would think Men's History Month would have. June is for brides...wouldn't want to get in their way. July is busy with Independence Day and all the family vacations...might not have time for you, too. August is taken up with county and state fairs and getting those kids back to school. December, once again, you've got Christmas to consider. So, October it is!!! Great idea...can't wait to tell my husband!!!
