I Am Not Receiving Any Emails Since A Couple Of Day. Why Is That

I am not receiving my emails?

I noticed you had an email address in your account which your Yahoo emails were being sent to. I've removed that for you, so emails sent to your Yahoo Mail account will now arrive normally again! Unfortunately, emails forwarded away from your Yahoo Mail account are not able to be restored to your Yahoo Mail account.

If you are still not receiving emails to your Yahoo Mail account, I recommend checking out the Yahoo! Help article "I'm not receiving some or all emails" available at:

I hope this helps you!

Delay in receiving yahoo mail?

The only answer I can give you "sst" is to try the BASIC version which is quite fast. Once you've gotten in it, though, you'd better place it in your «favorites». This way you can select either the full featured version or the Basic if the former won't send you the mails right away. If you do not know the procedure to enter BASIC, do this then :
>go to gear top right→ select settings→select Viewing email→go down to the right and place the dot in the small box next to the word BASIC→go all the way down to the left and click SAVE. That's all.
Now......I suggest you also place the regular version in the «favorites». Why? Because this way you can call for both versions and have them at the very top and switch from one to the other as you wish. This is what I do every time I go into Yahoo mail. Good luck!

My emails to earthlink.net address is not being delivered?

Starting a few days ago, any emails I send to a friend at @earthlink.net are not being delivered. The Earthlink site indicates that people having this problem should contact Yahoo.

Why do I receive Hotmail e-mails too late?

Since a couple of days I keep on receiving Hotmail e-mails too late. Is this a problem with Hotmail or with Yahoo Mail?
It is very annoying, because I expect answers on my e-mails and I receive them 1 day or half a day too late!
I am not really sure whether it is only with e-mails from Hotmail or with other e-mails too because most of my contacts use Hotmail.

Why am I not receiving Quora Digest emails? I recently changed my email address with Quora. Does it just take a few days to update or what?

Why am I not receiving Quora Digest emails? I recently changed my email address with Quora. Does it just take a few days to update or what?I’m not sure why you’re not getting them. The only way I can experiment is by changing my own email address and I don’t want to do that. In lieu of that, I will make a couple suggestions for you to try.Primary EmailCheck to see that your new email address is set as “primary email.” To do this:Click on profile photo.Click on Settings.Click on Account. The account you want Quora to use should be in the spot for Primary Email. If it is in that spot and Quora is not using it, then there is a possibility that email cannot be changed with Quora.Forward from Old AddressIf Quora will not allow you to change email address, you may have to set your old email address to forward mail to your new address. If none of the above work, send them an email about this. I don’t know what else to suggest.

What can I do if a professor does not reply to an introductory email, my future relies on my speaking with them, and the matter is time-sensitive?

Something like this happened with the first email I sent to the professor who became my adviser. I sent an email and waited for two or three weeks. I heard nothing back.I was already in the PhD program, so I decided to try to show up to his office hours. He didn't have a website on which to post his office hours, but I found them posted outside the door to his office. I showed up one day and knocked on the door. The conversation began something like this:Me: Hi, I'm a beginning PhD student. I was --Prof: Oh, it was you who sent me that email. Come in. I remember your name was Merberg, but please write it there on the board. (He points to the right side of his blackboard, which I see is filled with dozens of names of students who have visited his office in recent years.)After I had written my name on the board, I asked him about his expectations for his students, and then we talked about my background a little bit. Somewhere along the way, an exchange like the following happened:Prof: You said you are taking two classes this semester. Which ones?Me: I don't think I mentioned that yet, but it's true...Prof: You said in the email that there were two times when you were not available to meet.I still don't know why my adviser didn't reply to that email. It's possible that he tried to send a reply but it didn't work for some reason. (A couple of weeks later, he expressed frustration over having sent an email which none of the recipients had received.)  But the reason wasn't an unwillingness to supervise me.Since you mention you're applying to the PhD program, you probably don't have the option of showing up at the professor's office. If you do, I certainly would recommend doing that.I would encourage you to make an effort to contact the professor again. You could try sending an email, but I wouldn't wait more than a couple of days this time. After a couple of days, try a phone call.I would also not worry that the professor will be annoyed by an email or phone call. The only way the professor will find it bothersome is if they're completely uninterested in hearing from you, but even in that case you don't lose anything by trying. Just don't contact the professor obsessively or harass them, and it should be fine.

I haven't received any mail at my Gmail address for the past few days. What can be done?

(assuming your internet connectivity is OK)Send an email to yourself. Make sure you receive it.Now check your spam folder, to see if any messages that you were expecting ended up in there. If it’s just that you’re just craving for some email to come your way… No problem! Just subscribe to some newsletter and you’re sure to have many emails sent to you.
