Why can't i watch porn on my macbook pro?
whatever, everybody watches porn so idc what anyone says about it but yeah i am able to watch youtube. just no xxx sites. and i wait for it to be done buffering which isnt very long but still the same thing happens.
New macbook pro with touchbar vs no touchbar?
im thinking of getting a 15 inch macbook pro but i cant decide. There's no big price difference between the 2015 and 2016 so my parents are telling me to get the 2016 version.. but im not sure how i feel about the touch bar.. i feel more comfortable with pressing buttons single time and also the usb slots are different so i have to get the diff ones which i feel like is so extra.. and ive seen tons of youtube vids comparing those two but im just really not sure and can't decide.. im going to use it for adobe programs, sketchup, etc.. and for college stuff..
New Macbook Pro can't connect to AirPort with 2701HG-B Gateway?
The 2Wire ships with WPA encryption enabled - the code is on the router between the { and } its a 10 digit WPA code. The airport card may not like that encryption. First login to the 2701HG-b using a wired machine. Its address is http://192.168.1.254 (as the default unless it has been changed) once logged in to the router, go to the wireless page and turn off the security. Then try the airport card and see if you connect. If you do, log back in and enable the encryption and use WEP - see if you connect, if you do log back in to the router and reset to WPA and try again. My best bet is that the airport security setting and the routers are just not liking each other. (happens with alot of cards!) You can also get very good support and information from http://2wire.com
Can macbook pros get viruses?
I am going to buy a mac book, and i've been researching, and alot of people are giving me mixed answers saying that they cant get viruses, and some people are saying they can. So can they? I want to know if i will need anti virus protection.
Powerpoint on MacBook Pro will not open links within powerpoint, is there a way to fix this?
First off, that error message is the result of the person making the slideshow not knowing the proper way to insert media. This is not your problem, it's theirs. As long as you have installed the free Flip4Mac QuickTime helper application, your Mac can play all media files in PowerPoint. The download is here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/... The error message strongly suggests that the person who inserted the content did something very dumb - overrode the default embed feature and forced PowerPoint to link to a file that is on their computer. When the presentation is moved to another computer, the link can't possibly work because it is specific to the creator's computer. Another possibility is that they saved the file in the old PowerPoint 2004 and earlier format that does not support embedding of video. That, too, is a dumb mistake. Always use a current file format.
How do I install Netflix on a MacBook Pro?
While others have already answered this question underming the fact why this question was asked I will try and bring that into light.There is a standalone application for Windows 8+ for Netflix streaming and it seems surprizing why MacOS is missing a standalone app. When the entire world is moving to a unified ecosystem, I often wondered why can't the netflix app on iOS be ported on to MacOS. (I understand it's not that simple, but it sure is not impossible!)I can only hope for a standalone app for Netflix on MacOS as of now.
Why does my sound get locked on my MacBook Pro and how can I fix it? Is this a big enough problem that I should be taking it in to the store. It has happened to me maybe 3 or 4 times and I have owned my laptop for about a month.
This answer comes very late, but if you are still having this issue here is what to do:Look in the Sound control panel in System Preferences under the Apple menu.Make sure Input is set to microphone and Output is set to Internal Speakers.Open Audio MIDI setup; it is in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder.Make sure that it is set to Built-in Output.Sometimes these settings get messed up. Adjusting them should fix your issue. If not, try resetting the parameter RAM by restarting and holding down the “P”. “R”. and “Option” keys until the computer automatically restarts itself three more time. Then check the Sound settings again.
