I Am Planning To Buy A Top End Cng Nano Want Some Suggestion

What is the best second-hand car for a budget of 2 to 3 Lakhs?

Since your question has absolutely no information about your preferences, let me answer this part of your question. What are the things needs to be considered before buying? You would ideally look at the condition of the car and market value and decide if you want to buy or not. However, if you want to make yourself more satisfied about your purchase, you would want to do these.1. Speak to someone in your network who owns exactly same car and model. Ask him/her about vehicle experiences in terms of mileage and maintenance expenses. Also about dealership experiences.2. Internet has almost everything these days. Websites like TeamBHP, Carwale have so much information about cars. You would find ownership reviews of cars of each model. Eg: Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire @ 37000kms, 3.5 years - Team-BHP3. If the car is too old, see if you can get an appointment with a known mechanic and make him have a look at it. But DO NOT try with any random mechanic, rather you can skip it.4. Generally, old cars eventually end up having lot of cabin noise. And you are going to make it more old, meaning even more cabin noise. So, I would give a lot of importance to the amount of cabin noise the car is making. It also tells you that the car has been driven very cautiously.5. A/C is the most important thing in India. Make sure to check it out thoroughly.6. Check the service schedule of that typical model and see if the vehicle is supposed to be due for a big change like - time belt replacement, tires replacement, clutch kit replacement, gear box replacement etc. If it has been done recently, it helps. It not, it helps you in bargaining.7. Look for 15000KM per year. If the car has been driven more than that, consider bargaining or consider to skip.Overall, most importantly go for the best number of miles driven to number of years ratio. If a car has been driven less than 30000 miles in 5 years and if a car has been driven 55k miles in 3 years. You may want to chose the 5 years as typically if would be priced much lower than 3 year old car.

Is the Tata Nano GenX worth a buy? Why?

Hi everyone, i am the owner of tata nano twist xt 2014 and this is an honest suggestion, plz never buy a tata car and specially nano for personal use for the following Reasons :Its been 1.5 years with nano and tata dealers and they all SUCK big time in every aspect of customer service.( its a different level altogether ) but for the car also here are the real facts :-1) tata car are poorly engineered, ( you will feel that after a usage of 1 yr ) its never smooth and quiet ( try reversing a nano ) ( try using the power windows )2) Tata service station people are morons and highly untrained ( they behave as if customer is idiot and calling to trouble them ) (everytime i get back my car from service something or the other is not working or not fixed )3) nano components are worst quality plastic ( in the first year itself, my bonet stand clip broke, door winders handle cameout, power window buttons got jammed, horn cracked 4 times and wiper motor broke )4) after only 15000 kms my car is making rattling sound, from some unknown components ( tata service people never care for these issues and always say " we checked, everything is fine" )5) music system is poorest chinese quality, my 3000/- JBL sounds much better anyday.( rear speakers cracked after first 5 months )6) horn loudness is like a f**king two wheeler ( no one will give you side ) and that too keeps breaking and you need to retune is every 2 months. ( big pain )7) side mirrors are useless. placed such that you cant see the blind spots before you hit someone. ( check most nano cars on road and you will see dents on rear doors )and after all this it costs ( 2.5 lacs on bangalore roads) as good as a maruti.+ you carry that poor tata nano owner image ( ppl think its still a 1 lac rupee car ) so its never a good deal.Remember, we buy cars for lasting comfort, good memories and good driving experience, not for sudden shocks, breakages, failures and lasting regrets.so i would say, NO, TATA NANO is never ever worth buyingtrust me i am an engineer turned experience designer, this car is a mess. stay away from these careless LOADING TRUCK MAKERSsave some more money and go for a japnese or european BRAND.

Which is the best SUV car in India?

Just bought a Hyundai Creta for my wife… went through almost all the available options and her primary requirement was an Automatic Gearbox, Rear Camera and a Bright color. We checked Brezza (disappointing in terms of power and no auto), Ecosport (no Rear Camera, looked smaller but very close second preference), Honda WRV (No auto), Honda BRV (its a mini van not SUV), Toyota Fortuner (too expensive for a compact SUV), our Tata Hexa (Too big for her), Mahindra XUV/TUV (too noisy, very hard ride, not for ladies), Renault Duster (looked n felt cheap quality stuff), Jeep Compass ( Close 3rd but expensive for the class). Not to mention the BMW X3, Merc (GLE/GLA), Audi Q3/Q5, Range Rover, etc. (we did not want to spend that much on a part time car).Hyundai Creta offered a balance of nice aesthetics, Good interiors, Some nice features like Turn assist headlights, Turn Nav warning, etc. with a smooth automatic transmission, comfortable ride, Good boot space and a very light steering, rear cam, park assist, etc. etc. As per the milegae, we are getting about 450 Km with a full tank which is costing about Rs. 3,500 of high speed petrol.Costed us about 16Lacs with extra accessories like Leather Seats, Front n Rear bumper skids, Roof Wrapping in 3M black etc.Overall, happy with the car and she is loving it.

Is Tata Nano a good car to buy?

Best city car you can buy, Nanos AMT version is best compared to its competitors (Kwid Auto & Celerio AMT) both costs above 5L and Nano AMT will be on the road for 3.7L. (with showroom/TATA discounts you can hit the road for something between 3.1 to 3.6L easily). BTW I got it on road for 3L in Kottayam, Kerala during Feb 2017This car can easily accommodate 4 people and you will be surprised to see its cabin space.Note: Boot space is something which Nano lacks but its for the city ride and it can easily get 1 large and 1 medium sized travel suitcases in its boot which is more than enough.AC is the best in class you can get and can freeze your bones in minutes and same with power steering, Steering is feather flow!!Its always a thumps up from me for Nano Twist!! Well designed for city but badly and poorly marketed in India is where the reason for its average hit in market. I have personal experience with fellow Nano customers and none of them had ever told negative comments on Nano ever. That itself gives me the compliment of not gone wrong with the choice of Tata Nano.People on road underestimate the power of Nano and I have always shown what Nano could do on the road in attaining good speed in seconds with its SPORTS mode ON. :D :D.Tata always told its poor mans car, instead of which they should have marketed it as a city car or a family’s second car!!Few other things to mention is Tatas maintenance free for services for 4 years. Literally no money to be spent from your pocket on services till the end of 2 years literally not a single paise no labour charges and no consumable charges too. You can even get your wiper blades changed for free during this time is what they promise.Need to take new Nano for service once in a year after the very 1st one which happens in one month time which is incredible for this car.

According to low maintenance cost which one will be better choice between wagon R & TATA Tiago?

Before answering this question I was going through the answers given by other people and it seems that everyone is hell bent on proving the WagnoR a right choice instead of Tiago.Instead of recommending any car here, I would urge you to take a test drive of both the cars and then decide. As for as my point of view is concerned, I wouldn’t consider a boring WagonR over a refreasing Tiago.Tiago is loaded with bells and whistles where as the WagonR is bare bone and has very utilitarian feel to it. Neither the engine nor the interiors of this car feels good. Whereas on the other side Tata has tried to change their image with Tiago and they are seriosuly making efforts to make this car a success. In terms of after sales and service, Tata has opted a lot of measures to make their after sales experience pleasent. A lot of Tiago buyers have experienced this during their first service. Also, people are bashing Tata vehicles about their maintenance cost, this id purely a misconception, you must have seen thousands of Tata Indica taxis plying on the road, now the Taxi segment only invests in such vehicles which are economical, abuse friendly and have lesser maintenance cost.My suggestion would be to give Tiago a chance and then decide wheather it is a worthy contender or not. Also, please do not follow the herd mentality where everyone is buying Maruti vehicles blindly, I am a swift owner and except the vehicle I never liked the after sales and service experience of Maruti, the moment my extended warranty expired, the differnt Maruti ASS tried to con me by changing various parts which was never required in the first place.

For a daily driving of 50 km, should one buy a petrol or a diesel car?

The difference between Petrol and diesel is inching closer and shortly it won't make a big difference .However keeping the current scenario ,50 KM per day does not warrant a diesel car .Just a simple math like ,for 50 km a petrol car would cost 5 litres at Rs 350(Assuming 10km per litre ) and Diesel would cost at 12km/litre Rs 220 .Rs 130 less which is around Rs 4000 per month , but if you factor buying and running costs the same evens out as Diesel cars are more expensive to buy and run >So in the end it boils down your preference like your daily commute distances etc..For most driving a Petrol car is more exhilarating than a diesel car in terms of performance .This is my general opinion as personally i own one Petrol Car for performance and a diesel car for long distance travel
