I Am Selling A New Item This Is Listing Okay

If you keep relisting an eBay item, do you get charged a fee?

When you list an item for sale, you may be charged a listing (or insertion) fee. If an insertion fee is applicable, you're charged one insertion fee per listing, per category, regardless of the quantity of items.Insertion fees are charged to your seller account at the time of listing. Even if the item doesn't sell, you're still responsible for the insertion fee.If you set up your listing to relist automatically, you're responsible for the insertion fees for the initial listing and each time your item is automatically relisted. You may end your automatic relisting early.Insertion fees are flat fees and are calculated differently depending on the category of the item, the selling format you choose, and if you're a Stores subscriber. If your buyer doesn't pay, you may qualify for an insertion fee credit. You will receive one insertion fee credit for each auction-style listing for which you paid an insertion fee if that listed item sells (exclusions apply). We may limit duplicate auction-style listings to encourage a positive buyer experience. If you list duplicate identical auction-style listings, you'll be charged the full insertion fee and any fees for optional advanced listing upgrades for each listing even if a listing doesn't appear on eBay for the full duration of the listing. If you list an item in more than one category, you pay an insertion fee and any advanced listing upgrade fees for each category.

Can I list items I don't own on eBay, and sell them from Amazon and payers money and buy the item cheaper off Amazon, profit?

YES.The principle behind this technique is used by retailers and dropshippers all over the world. This simple principle is the key to making profit in the ecommerce business. What is this principle?Buy low, sell high. It’s as simple as that. The fact that you’re buying on Amazon and selling to eBay is inconsequential. It’s a perfectly valid form of dropshipping.Anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves, all drop shippers buy low from some marketplace and sell high in another. What’s more, it’s wins all the way down. The customer wins because you’ve provided an item at a cheap price they were willing to pay. eBay wins with their fees. You win for making some profit. Amazon wins for making a sale. Now, to do this at scale can be extremely time consuming. This is exactly why I created dropkick | dropship from any retailer . We support this exact scenario, selling from Amazon to eBay, and automate 90% of the time consuming tasks, letting you scale to millions in sales without needing a team of software engineers.

Can I post an identical listing of my pre-used items in multiple marketplaces, such as eBay and Craigslist, in order to increase my chances of selling the item?

Yes, absolutely. As Scott points out, you will definitely increase your sales by posting to multiple sites and increasing your exposure. Some sites, like eBay, encourage posting the same item across multiple categories. Others do not. But, and it's a big "but", you really need to tightly manage inventory to prevent buyers from attempting to purchase items that are out of stock. Either you need to quickly pull down listings when you've sold out or you need to develop supply channels that let you quickly replenish inventory to handle sales.

Ebay seller, selling items that are out of stock?

My husband has dealt with that a few times. I wouldn't say Ebay is overrun with it, but it is common enough.

Just remember to read their feedback more carefully in the future. You will be able to pick out the ones based on feedback left by other customers.

Which means yes it is okay to leave negative feedback. Just say simply

"Won item that wasn't in stock, but was refunded."

That will say everything.

Should I sell my things on Ebay or Etsy?

Okay, So i like to make friendship bracelets, bookmarks, etc. and I make them very quickly. I was thinking about selling them to make money, but Im not sure which one would be better to sell them on, ebay or etsy?
Thankkss<33

I missed an eBay auction. Am I allowed to tell the seller that if the item is still available, I will pay a certain price for it?

The message you send will only contain the link for item if you bid on it. If you did not then describe the item as best you can.I would suggest that you position your questions as to when the item might become available again or suggest an offer close if not equal to the buy it now price. The discussion does not need to be about side deals off ebay.Don’t be one of those pompous idiots that read the “Art of the Deal” that waits for auctions to end then send Msg offering to buy the item for pittance because it did not happen to sell. We know that some buyers are all about getting jazzed up about the negotiation process to brag about saving a quarter here or there. I find them too exhausting to deal with.Sellers have broad based listing strategy. They are content if a percentage of items sell. Anything that gets no bids this time might do better the next time around

Is Ebay allowed to sell items stolen from graves?

Here's what had happened. My terminally ill mom and a couple hundred other ebay users have been banned from ebay because being Native American,we find digging up our ancestors and robbing their graves, then selling these objects on EBAY not only illegal and a FEDERAL OFFENCE, but disgraceful and disrespectful to my people and ancestors,as well as RACSIST as well! And then, when a large group of Natives/people banded togethor to tell ebay these items were stolen from graves and to stop these people as well as the selling of said objects,Ebay banned them in response and is banning more people! Why? It makes it seem like Ebay finds racsim and the hundreds of years of slavery/ oppression and hardship suffered by my people OKAY! Is this legal or Okay? Why are they doing this to us? I don't understand?People are getting hurt or killed because people are so desperate to make a buck selling these things on ebay! My mother had a friend whose cousin was beaten to death by baseball bats in front of family members because he went out and saw these people doing this and tryed to stop it. The objects dug up were later sold and bought off of Ebay! Sorry to say this but, it makes it seem like this company is either very greedy and desperate by any means for cash,or very racsist! Because I was under the assumption grave robbery is wrong and illegal.Yet Ebay is selling these things. Isn't it? How and why is happening? When will this stop?
