I Am Traveling This Summer So What Should I Do To My Bills Do I Contact The Company

How do I become an IRCTC travel agent?

Internet Agent Agents are not allowed to book Tatkal tickets before 12 AM using their agent ID. Most of the times they book using their personal IRCTC ID. For Tatkal tickets booked by agents after 12 PM, they are not allowed to charge any money that they want. It's decided by the Railways and clearly mentioned on the e-ticket and the message as well. The charges normally are 10 rs for sleeper class and 20 for AC class. This is totally unfair by the Railways as they do not include the PG charges in the ticket and its normally 2% of the transaction, hence being more than 10 Rs itself. This normally leads to dispute between Customer and the agent. For being an agent of IRCTC, you normally need to pay something more than 15,000 INR for a year to receive the license. Hence if agents charge you as per Railways rule, they will go bankrupt, that is why they charge 30-40 Rs per ticket over and above the total cost of ticket. Booking Tatkal ticket on a personal ID and charging other people for it, is a criminal offence. It should not be done at any cost. What agents do is illegal.Window agentI do not have much of information about them, but they are also not allowed to book Tatkal tickets before 12 PM.There is no such software which costs them 13 Lacs to purchase that can buy you a confirm ticket. Most of the times, they charge you 500 Rupees for a ticket, ask one of their guy to stand in the line overnight and get a confirmed ticket for you, and this is totally illegal.

Paying bills months ahead of time?

I have done this for electric, gas and phone bills, it works great. They give credit and use that credit for future billing cycle. You can do that for rent if you can afford to do that. as for Credit card bill, nope. You can pay five times in one month and it will only count as for that one month. You will still have to pay next month bill. So that suck. I'm not sure on car insurance, but probably the same, you can get credit.

I've done this when I know cash will be tight. It helped alot!

I want to go to Mexico City this summer from USA. Never travelled internationally before. Will I be able to pay using dollars?

No, in Mexico City you can’t pay using dollars directly. But you can get Pesos on any ATM for a small fee -try Inbursa or Banco Coppel for lowest commisions, or if your bank is HSBC or CitiBank, you can find mexican branches for no commissions-.Remember that you can pay with US Credit or Debit Card with no problem if affiliated at Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Other systems -like Carte Blanche or JBC- are not widely accepted. If necessary, inform your bank you will do an international travel..Remember that you can use Uber or Cabify instead of street taxis, and you can pay directly in the app with your US Credit Card. Better for safety and easiness. At Money Exchange there are no commissions. They win with the spread between buying and selling, and in most places it’s a 20 dollar minimum per operation. Also, the airport one are the worst. Also you must know that in Mexico all showed prices are final -taxes already added- and that it’s easy to convert at rate of 20 pesos for one dollar for easy and convenience, even if the real exchange rate is lower (as 21.80 today). And, at end, if you want to visit Templo Mayor, Zocalo and Cathedral with a book autor, try Visitas Literarias (http://visitasliterarias.com) It can be arrange a special visit for you, in english, in the date and time that better serve your agenda.

How can I get a sponsor to fund my travel and work abroad then pay later?

You can travel, stay and meet a ton of people for free using a website/ app called couchsurfing. It’s safe and exceptional for it’s purpose. We host multiple travelers from all around the world each week. When it comes to working while traveling there are tons of websites dedicated to that as well. We just had some “surfers” from Portugal who came to Canada using a program where they work and an organic farm in exchange for room, board and some spending money.

Can my electric company in Virginia shut my power off in November?

If this is a regular power co not an electric membership company contact your state public service commission for accurate information Phone: (804) 371-9611 TDD: (804) 371-9206 Toll-free: (within Virginia) 1-800-552-7945. If it is an electric membership company (EMC) it is probably not regulated by the public service commission. You may still be able to negotiate a budget plan with them. If you are a senior citizen or disabled be sure and ask the power co if it offers discounts to seniors or disabled people.

Your local United Way helpline which is probably 211 but if not look in the phone book for United Way can tell you local agencies that may be able to help with electric bills.

If a college roommate goes home for the summer but continues to pay rent, is he or she still obligated to pay the utility bills, i.e., electricity, water, garbage, etc., even though he or she is not using these things while away?

Of course they are.Unless they sublet their room (with current room-mate permission) to someone else.  And even then they are responsible if the subletor does not pay. Renting an apartment or a house is a 24x7x365 proposition.

Union Pacific Railroad train crew..I need your help!?

My husband is thinking about applying for a train crew position with Union Pacific. I am concerned with how long and how often I should expect him to be away from home. Also, when he is home, how manys days will it be usually? I know it varies but I just need a rough estimate.
And, what are some positions with Union Pacific that don't require a degree, and do not require much if any travel?
